+Ron Colson that wouldnt necessarily make them batter people and could even give them the ability to justify what they were doing. the bible can so easily be reinterpreted that ill bet some of those people were practicing christians.
It's frightening how 95% of all users seem to only care about the animals.
What about the nazi experiments? I just looked up the experiments and saw
some very gruesome and disturbing stuff.
Yeah I agree, it's screwed up. I'd hate to learn of all the things they did that we don't know about, I'm sure they didn't keep records of every sick thing they did....
no doubt, yeah it's sad about the animals but damn those people were helpless also not to mention were tortured to death, my cousin is the same way, she says she'd rather a person getting tortured over an animal! wtf!? she says its because animals are helpless! what the people who get tortured just ask for it and aren't forced? people are so unsympathetic towards there own kind these days its really sad, and a bit scary
Just because we don't understand why an animal does something, doesn't mean it's to be "evil" or "cruel". It's a bit egotistical of us really, to assume we can understand them, that millions of years of evolution could be understood in the few years humans have been interested to do so.
There is a species of bird that will kill and arrange hundreds of beetles in large piles as trophys. Additionally, male elephants have been known to run around ramming and killing other animals for sport.
+Paramecium914 Yes, as I said, to meet instinctual needs.protect their "area", to eat, to become the "leader", etc. Animals do not have the capacity to be intentionally cruel. They do things that may seem cruel to us (have you ever watched a pack of dogs take down a larger animal? - its not a quick death). But again, this is what is ingrained in them to survive. When you think about it, they really don't have a choice.
+Paramecium914Yes but they don't treat other animals like this. Animals kill for food, humans kill for experiments, fun, lust, because they don't like someone and the list goes on and on. If humans killed each other for food, too then that would be a different story but it shouldn't be neccessary because we don't HAVE to eat meat + most of us live in civilized countries that have their own laws which protect every single human being from getting slaughtered.
+Misse Ibrahimagic It's because animals are totally innocent. People can do deranged evil things, things that make your stomach turn. Animals never hurt for pleasure, only to meet instinctual needs. Also (although I understand in some cases this is not true) people can generally stand up for themselves, or have others do so for them (family, friends, the government etc.)
+Misse Ibrahimagic - Most people only listen to their feelings, not common sense. And animals are for a lot of people so much cuter than humans. Sad but true.
+Paramecium914I mean, it's great that people actually care about animals, I care about animals, too. But showing no empathy when somebody abuses a human is just...
+Misse Ibrahimagic My thoughts exactly. People in the comments seem to care about the animals than about the actual people.

My Ulcerative Colitis 30 Months Ago - During Remicade Infusions
Details about my doctor visit with my gastroenterologist doctor 30 months ago when my ulcerative colitis was out of control and I was in the middle of REMICADE ...
@MrJonny181 Hey Mr. Jonny, first off, you got to stay positive!! that's key
to success with this crappy disease. Go talk to your doctors, and you might
want to get a few tests done. One specifically is called c-diff (you can
google that) its somewhat common with UC patients when in flares. also, as
you konw, I'm medication free and I treat my disease with reducing stress,
and diet, and also and most importantly with maintaining a poisitive
outlook. you ever done any diet changes?
Dear Adam May I recommend a very good book on this subject: 'Better Health
Without Surgery' by Dr Ross Trattler and Dr Adrian Jones, two USA based
naturopathic doctors. Please consult the chapter on UC. They recommend a
mono diet of Apple Sauce (Stewed Apples). This has given me great relief
and cure of UC for long periods of time. I am now 54 years and have had UC
since I was 19 years. This is the best book I have found on the subject. I
hope it helps. Good Luck. Bridget.
love ya man. So how are you now in 2013? I had UC for 10 years... at worst,
over 20 bowel movements a day ended up with an ileostomy after many
treatments and drugs over the 10 year period. Never looked back. Am
healthy, muscular and active. So glad to be well. I've had an ileostomy for
21 years. No more "itis" of any kind. Good luck with everything. I'm just
saying getting the surgery (a last resort) is NOT the end of the world. It
can be a new beginning.

hey my story is very similar to yours I was on remicade for the past 3
years but i have taken the decision to go off meds 2 months ago. I am
feeling good but worried i might get a flare off the meds. Did you
experience any effects going off remicade?
@timmerg Hey, I wish you the best in going off the meds. I myself did not
notice any negative side effects in going off the Remicade, I was only
using it for 3 infusions though, so I really wasn't on it for too long.
I have radically changed my diet, cut out alcohol, grains, almost all
dairy, and artificial sweetners and most other processed sugars (now only
honey and sugars in some fruits)
