We're hardwired to want and like sugar, salt, and fat. Dump much of these
and our bodies will change. The second problem is over eating. Most of us
have also been taught by our parents to eat everything on our plate because
the food they bought us is expensive, and they can't afford to waist food.
We over eat and it's nearly as dangerous as eating unhealthy foods.
Big problem for most is that junk food isn't expensive, yet healthier foods
are. There's also a convenience factor. Most fast food restaurants are huge
on marketing foods we'll love the taste of, but are usually horribly
unhealthy. That and unless you want to keep the hours of a senior, it's
hard to find something quick late at night that's healthy and not terribly
expensive.
I'd love to be able to plan for everything accurately to say, ok I'll only
be out for two hours, and then I can return and eat a healthy meal. I've
said that quite a few times, and without forming solid habits it's hard.
You go out and recall 3 things that you didn't initially plan to do, but
that seem important whilst you're out. Instead of ignoring them and going
straight home saying saying well I'll do them next time, we do them anyway
and extend our outing another hour, totally screwing up our eating habits.
That or we end up buying something we want, and not should eat whilst out.
The problem I see with white flour that isn't potato based is it doesn't
have much nutrition. It can also have nasty effects on the body because of
gluten intolerances. Potato products are starch and usually benign. I have
yet to meet someone whom is intolerant to foods or allergic to things whom
can't eat potatoes. Processed (white) sugar is stripped of anything good it
can have, and bleached. Salt is bad in high quantities, but gives food a
flavour kick. We need iodised salt, absolutely need in small quantities.
Most comes in large quantities. Convenience foods are super high in sodium
(salt) around 1,200mg per serving, and should be around 300mg. Why? It's
not expensive to add salt. Spices like tarragon are expensive, and
companies are looking to make money.
Oh no this is so upsetting I was very inspired by your videos on goal
settings but you clearly are giving wrong and potentially dangerous
information here by associating white flour with starches and whole non
gluten containing grains. Millions of people on earth thrives on wild rice
potatoes corn quinoa millet buckwheat and so on.. I would have add the
other " bad white" with milk products..
I just adore you Brian - you have SO much changed my life of thinking -
it's just AMAZING! Love you

Hey Brandi! I'm a huge fan, I was just wondering if you can make something
snoopy related for the new Peanuts movie.
I'm also a ringette player and ringette isn't really a famous sport so to
represent it can you make a ringette cake
+Brighton Mason yeah, I do this sometimes too but most of the time I'd prefer to just eat the yogurt on the side because most flavored ones taste like desserts
smoothie looked epic. u always weigh almond milk instead of going by volume
measurement? scales are usually set for mL in water only, so it ends up
underestimating the amount of another liquid (e.g. milk) you poured. not
too far off or a big deal tho.
agreed on leg extensions btw, lots of people dont like them but they're
dope imo
Are you using the same intro or are you updating it every week? I don't see
