The Salad Dressing You Should NEVER Eat + 3 Healthy Alternatives
COMPLETE RECIPE: //bit.ly/1EKqE2n Today, we'll talk abut the salad dressing that you should never eat and why you should avoid it. I will also show 3 ...
The worst store bought salad dressing I've ever bought was one made by
Kraft. It was disgusting, like sweet chemicals. I make my own with extra
virgin olive oil and white wine vinegar and a little mustard. You can't
beat it.
I also make a simple pasta dressing by crushing a vege stock cube into a
powder, mixing it in olive oil and adding some fresh garlic, and use that
instead of pesto on my pasta.
Whats a good sub for the Tahini if I cannot find in the store? am always
looking for different salads for my sick hubby! thank you in advance for
your response.
+High Carb Hannah THANK YOU THANK YOU for making a non sweet savory salad dressing! So many vegan recipes are watery and sweet, and I don't want to pour fruits and dates on my salad greens. Do you have more recipes of those savory dressings? Yum!
I wouldn't really bother answering to soemoen who knows best but I want to inform other raw food lovers that sauerkraut, indeed, is raw, unless you cook it.It's one of the healthiest fermented foods, like the Korean kimchi, minus all the extra spicy and smelly ingredients. Google it, or watch numerous video recipes on youtube if you can't trust someone who hails from the parts where saurkraut is as common as apple pie in America and who assisted in making it for years. It was a family affair in which all family assisted in the basement of our house. After a 4-6 week fermentation period, it's served raw and cold as a salad, with a bit of oil and crushed pepper on top, OR cooked and hot, traditionally simmered for a long time with cured meat or sausages. In France they call this choucroute. So, yes it's cooked when it's cooked just like any other raw food put in a pot and placed over fire. But, it is raw food.
Wrong - sauerkraut is not cooked. I've made it heaps of times with my family. It's a common food in many parts of Europe. Most stuff that you buy is cooked but you can find it raw - and she did say raw.
+Nomad Patriot Sour Kraut is raw actually. The way that it is traditionally made in germany - the way my grandmother taught me is raw. A lot of the canned stuff you buy in stores is cooked but you can buy it raw as well :)
Raw Salad Dressing Recipe
I've been trying out so many RAW foods lately and this one is one of my favourite go to raw salad dressings:) Not only does it taste amazing, but your actually ...
Wow, I made the recipe and it's RIDICULOUSLY delicious! I added salt. It
even works with regular tomato, red onion and German mustard. It honestly
DOES taste like McDonald's Big Mac sauce. Thanks for this recipe! If I ever
get those McDonald's cravings, I know exactly what to make instead, that's
healthy!
I have to say that this does NOT taste like a cheeseburger lol. But, that
said, it is good. Though it doesn't have any added salt, adding a bit of
sea salt does kick the flavor up a notch. Overall, a good raw dressing that
I will be making again. Thank you
