It is up to the creator of the work to file a counter notice, and potentially go to court over the bogus takedown, which often doesn't happen due to the high costs of going to court.That is arguably why American style DMCA takedown is flawed, and it's why many opposed, and oppose to this day the DMCA.

+Osiris Malkovich But you down "own" an idea. Unfortunately, so called "intellectual property" lobbyists like that idea, but it just goes to show how misleading the term "intellectual property" is. Patents only cover the implementation or method of an invention, copyright only protects the expression, not the information, and trademarks only protect companies from having their names ripped off by others potentially tarnishing their reputation in the market.

In the Netherlands, copyright law is a so-called "gedoogbeleid", which means it's barely enforced. It's technically illegal, but no one really cares. Even the big copyright watchdogs have explicitly stated that they're not interested in small time offenders. So if you torrent Game of Thrones season 17829, you won't even see a letter in tour mailbox. But don't start selling bootleg content or create a distribution website, that will land you into trouble.

Pretty sure it can land both the ISP and the buyer into big trouble here.There are definitely countries where these things work a little differently, though. You don't really want to download illegal materials in Germany. And you get the occasional horror story from the US. Not sure how they get people's data. I'd think you do have to contact someone's ISP about that. Maybe they have different laws. You could find out the IP addresses of some downloaders (assuming they don't use proxies), but IP addresses can't always be tracked too easily without contacting someone's ISP. I've seen websites that thought I lived in Utrecht. The DotA2 client put me in an Amsterdam-based chat channel, even though Zwolle (which also has a channel) is physically much closer to me. So yeah, not easy to track without contacting the ISP.

It shouldn't be enforced, unless its upon another company or millionaire who can pretty much afford to spare a dime on anything. Also to find out someones downloading copyrighted material, that means your ISP sells you out basically and gets $$$.

YouTube is simply the middle man trying to avoid getting sued by large companies. A handful of companies take fair use into consideration after the fact they have made the threat for immediate removal. Of course some individuals/groups recognize fair use. It's just the minority that abuse the system out of censorship or monetary gain.There's been a recent federal court case where its been said that companies cannot disregard fair use in disputing copyright infringement.

THINK ABOUT ALL THE LAST GEN PEOPLE All these people are being selfish and saying that they hope Destiny 2 isn't last gen. Think about all the goddamn people on last gen. I'm already pissed off that games like Halo 5: Guardians, Fallout 4, and Star Wars Battlefront are exclusive to next gen. Microsoft just wants us to buy next gen products so they freaking get the money. I'm also pissed that people that have next gen want Destiny 2 to be next gen exclusive. It is so damn stupid because most people don't have next gen at the moment. it doesn't make sense to have a 360 and then an Xbox One at the same time. Maybe 360 and ps4 are ok, but goddammit I do not want to buy another console. I'd rather spend my money on other new games. If Destiny 2 is next gen I quit unless Bungie mails us all a next gen console. Rant over.

Bria hear me out, I have been playing destiny since launch on the PS3 and just got a PS4 on the 11th, I was so into destiny on the old gen and the only reason I moved to new gen is because I thought that I could move taken king from PS3 to PS4, you can't. It is really annoying me because I don't want to shell out 80 dollars for something the frankly feels like barley worth 40 dollars, do you agree with me that if you move forward, you get all the constant you paid for?

I have to study for school, and only get to play for one hour on weekdays, and 5-7 hours on the weekend. I don't have many people who have ttk or even destiny in general to raid with me. LFG never works for me. Is there anything else for me to do? Second, When I get on LFG, there is always a few groups that say No kids allowed. Kids are being neglected, and disregarded as idiots. Some people don't think. Kids have feelings too. Just because YOU (talking to people who exclude) never had this happen when you were a kid, doesn't mean that you have the right to exclude. What can we do about this briar? I don't want to see kids left out, they can be just as good as adults are. Any ideas? Because I bet you wouldn't want to see this happen to your kids. And neither would any parents.

There's plenty of hardware out there to justify current gen only. As for you, save up some Xmas and birthday cash and sell a few games and whatever console you're on and you'll easily be able to buy a new one

I will be honest with this songs. I only reach like half the songs and once I want to hear it again. I repeat it to the beginning. I am in college but this songs got me through thick and thin moments of exams. This song got me writhing, drawing and relaxing a lot when I just want to pass time. I listen to this music whenever exams are coming and somehow I always got through thanks to this song for making me calm and relaxed.
