+sheldon leslie Nah not the same. But not double the price either. And the weird thing is samsung get away with it, with their inflated prices. HTC tried that and failed hard.
+rai ZOR ok, I'll admit that the prices are getting out of control a bit, but if you espect that the galaxy Note 5 or S6 edge should cost the same as a Motor X for example, well no way bro.
+sheldon leslie True and thats why the smartphone industry is way bigger than pc industry. But cost of production of smartphones and value, does not justify the price. Guess thats capitalism.
+rai ZOR the point had to be change if we're talking about the the same kind of devices, but as far as a phone and a laptop goes, the phone is more valuable to the average persons, Unless you're into producing music, videos, movies, and heavy stuff like that.
+sheldon leslie lol, you seem to be changing your reasons, first it was because of convenience that the Note 5's price was rightfully high but now its rightfully high because its made by a high-end brand (which I agree with), but still doesn't justify its price over laptops (generally). But this is clearly going nowhere.
+rai ZOR. Well now that you took the laptop out of the way, phone on phone changes the the point I'm trying to make to you. why does a Rolex cost more than a quartz ? They all tell time. why does a Mercedes Benz cost more that a Hyundai ? They all take you from point A to point B We all know that branding means a lot to most people which meant more demand for the products they produce. So you thing that the Note 5 should cost the same as a Motor G or something. ?
+sheldon leslie If that was the case then all smartphones would be super expensive, but thats not the case. Its pretty much a handful of companies that charge too much for their phones, I'm just singling out the Note 5 as one of them.
+rai ZOR convenience is a big part of its value, nd its a few things that the laptop may do over the smartphone such as having a bigger screen... shit I can't think of anything els lol see ? But I can list a lot of things that the laptop can't do better than a smartphone
+sheldon leslie Look, now your just comparing the convenience of a phone to a laptop, thats not what this is about. The Note 5 is highly over priced relatively, much more then typical laptops.
+rai ZOR well let me see you get on your laptop at any giving moment to take make calls, take pictures, Internet, messaging, play games, take Notes, direction/maps, pay bills, and now use as a credit/debit card etc.... now you tell me which is more valuable ? And remember the operative words are (ANY GIVING MOMENT)
No. laptop should cost what you expect this phone should, because I can bet you're on your phone much more than you do your laptop, assuming own one in the first place

as a lexus owner, i must say im pretty disappointed with the performance of
these "F-Sport" cars. I know lexus is a luxury brand but come on. 3.5L V6
and only 5.8 sec to 60? Lexus can do better.
yea lucky punk, take good care of it ,love it will last you long time. i have had my truck since i was 17, i still own it. and don't depend on your parents money too much, or you wont reach your full potential. they will be so happy to see you become greater than them +Chris Park
+chris ce Yeah i would think that too. But living off parents money only goes so far. I was blessed enough to get a brand new lexus for my 17th birthday
+chris ce i was actually considering a used 2011 m3 before buying my 2015 IS. They were roughly the same price but i didnt think i could handle the maintenance costs on that m3 lol. Couple of my friends said once that dct tranny goes out, its like 6k to fix
+Chris Parkmy bmw 335i just had an oil leak, reapired the gasket 1,000 USD. i would have doen it myself but i was out of the country. im getting a lexus i cant afford BMW
Oh God, please tell me that Microsoft kept the jerky awkward scrolling and
numerous bugs. I so enjoy the frustrating user interface and having to
reboot often.
+lapamful MS does not make inferior products.....that comment completely kills your credibilityTo be taken seriously perhaps you highlight things you don't like..but the inferior product approach is a credibility killer
+Redridge07I'm not American, but I'm pro-American and pro-competition.I answered your point about success, repeating it again isn't answering my points, you're avoiding them.MS makes inferior products, and that's not the American way. Apple is American and they're doing fine.Btw how's the Start menu coming along?
+lapamful you hate success. ..bet you are an American Instead of being proud of your institutions. ..you shit on themIt's this mindset that is weakening our global position
+Redridge07haha I know I'm speaking to an MS employee and you've just proven my point for me.I've had Andriod and IOS phones and love them. You have no competition and have become complacent. Mobile phones do an astonishing array of things, including with Andriod making their OS smaller so the devices that run them go faster. You are the voice of mediocrity. You have no competitors and don't really have to try. MS does the BARE MINIMUM to keep the moral of its workers off the floor and in order to fool gullible customers into thinking MS has actually achieved anything.OK, I'm off to read the latest, most exciting news coming out of MS: on whether Windows 10 has a Start button or not lolFace it. You suck.
+lapamful do you hear how you sound...summary: you think MS hates it's customersClean installs of windows are fast...it's the shit you have added that causes you issuesNo matter what MS does your type will hate it!You hate success!
+Redridge07 the laptop in question is new. So it's probably lots of bloatware causing it to slow down. This also illustrates Microsoft's contempt and disdain for the end user, the people who actually made Microsoft.
+lapamful actually its not the OS weighing down your system .. its the stuff you added weighing down your system ..... just trying to help you be more tech savvy
+Alex MacLean I've opted to download it on one laptop which has Win 8. 8 is the pits so it can't really get worse for me. But I hope you're right. Windows desperately needs to do something spectacular if it's going to turn things around.
It's actually not, Windows 10 is much more efficient than either 7 or 8. I've been using the pre release versions for about 2 months and now they are on the near finished release and it works quite well. I think people that try it will actually like it.
if I have a program that runs on Windows 7 but its not compatible with
Windows 8 when I installed windows 10 the software will run on Windows 10
???????
Hard to say, but there's a good chance it won't because w10 is built on the same base as w8. The biggest problem people have had is with printers not playing nice.

I only see very few Toyotas and Lexuses on the road in the UK, but a lot of
VWs, Audis, Skodas, Seats and Scanias. So where is Toyota selling its cars,
and which models are they that put Toyota at Number 1?
+chillout1109 The fact that the UK is less than 1% of the world population may have something to do with it. A tiny island nation wouldn't make or break a car company. 1.3 billion people live in China; 1.2 billion people live in India; 322 million people live in the USA and only 63 million people live in the UK. California alone (a Toyota loving state) has over 37 million (documented) people living there. Toyota and Lexus don't need to focus on certain countries. Be happy, you at least get cool cars offered by VW's cousin companies that most American's don't know their missing.Instead, we get crap VW's made in Mexico.
CNET - Don't you think you are a bit too late to review the 2015 model
while the 2016 models are on their way out?
Spending around $35k on a CRV, why not buy a Mercedes GLA instead?
+Ryan Wynn - why do you think this way? MB has a very good reputation. They cater to mainly the rich and affluent folks & these don't want a sub-standard product... period.
i don't think all cars should be required to have latches. like i have a
2013 genesis coupe. why does a sport car need that? it would be super hard
to get a kid in and out of that
+eduardoig17 I put kids in my 2-door cars, and for carmakers it's cheaper to carry just ONE type of seat (with latch) rather than two seats. WHAT I don't understand is why parents keep removing the kid car seat. I just leave mine permanently.
+BigTMoney121 should be optional i dont see people buying an slk and putting a child seat in it. If you want one for certain models dealer can put it in.
+eduardoig17 They need to come standard. Just because it's a sports car doesn't mean not a single person who owns one probably wont put a car seat in it.
I am REALLY surprised that CNET is recommending aftermarket HID headlights
on halogen reflector based housings... just amazing. The only thing that
those will do, is blind EVERYONE on the road.. hell no wondering why many
of those kits are illegal on many states of the US. If your car doesn't
have projector based headlights, you shouldn't be installing xenon bulbs...
the right way is to retrofit proper HID projectors into your car, which is
not that hard at all. And for Jaimie asking CNET, I'll answer that YES, LED
headlights are 100% possible (and much better option than HID) to install,
especially into older cars. JW SPEAKER is a company that makes factory
quality LED headlights (full LED projector headlights that are DOT approved
and 100% street legal) for a variety of cars with 7", 5.75", and 4.5" round
headlights. They even make LED headlights for cars with squared headlights,
6x4" and 7x5", they're outstanding modern headlight solutions. If you have
the money for LED headlights, there's no better option, you'll be amazed on
how well they work.
+Ricardo Gutierrez I was about to make a post about this too. Thank you for the detailed comment. I wish more people would get educated on this topic so less of us are blinded at night when an oncoming car has HID bulbs on a non-projector headlight.
How to buy a hoverboard that won't catch fire
Motorized, self-balancing boards are popping up everywhere. These so-called hoverboards range in price from $200 to $1700, but there have been reports of ...
+DHarrFilms theyre all the same. this guy doesnt know what hes talking about. Every single board is made by and probably patented by a chinese wholesaler and sold to "manufacturers" the only difference is the rubber wheels and padding.
+MarissaPlays Amazon is discontinuing many of its hoverboard sales because of all the issues that keep surfacing. These things are fun, but I'd say stay away from them!!
Im guessing its still under 300 but i watched this video a day after i
bought the Smart balancing wheel, and i bought it for 273 but the seller
has 96.3 positive feed back is that a big chance i will get my board?

Imagine if one of the guys in one direction ran for president 0_0.
It's possible that the amount of fans might overpower the other people that
are voting.
"There are four thousand people working in this plant."
A bunch of mom&pop shops serving as many customers as Amazon does would
employ hundreds of thousands of people.
And the customers would have to go to the store, and the selection wouldn't
be as good at any one store, and the items would likely cost more.
Amazon is faster, cheaper, and has greater selection, because Amazon is
more efficient than a collection of mom&pop stores serving the same demand.
But that efficiency means that it takes fewer people to get the job done.
+Schnitzel Stephan the problem isnt the employees or the robots that cuase incidents its amazon itself with theyre "rate per hour" that force employees to stuff as much products as possible or they may face termination the bins are full and cuase problems
+Blvck I'm currently writing a accounting project on robotic inventory systems but I have never worked with them. Can you, from your own experience see any risks or pitfalls with this system? For example, where there incidents where the inventory system came to a halt because of a problem with the robots? Are there any bureaucratic procedures that employees often seem to work around? And what would happen in the case of a power outage? Would this cause the inventory system to halt, or is there a backup plan ready to continue manually?
"Our focus with automation is to help people do their jobs, not to replace
people."
Amazon are already working on automating the jobs of picking the items out
of the shelves once they've been brought by the orange carrier bots.
They're also thinking of using drones and self-driving cars/vans to deliver
items, which will put many human drivers out of work.
The fact is, many, many more jobs in developed countries will be automated
in the coming years.
+Rob Lewis Ahahhaha even then.... nah it's impossible do you see the REST of the factory? people unloading boxes? marking them, checking for damaged boxes?? people restocking shelves? those jobs are IMPOSSIBLE to replace by robot. A robot will never gain the capability to unload boxes, check them off, remove content, put them on shelves. It is simply impossible and out of robot's capabilities. The guy on the car driving box around, you think a robot will do that? IMPOSSIBLE.
+Jeston Xi actually this is true... products will become cheaper because if few are being paid, economic circulation will decrease. Eventually certain products will simply be given away for free because automation production will be so efficient that there will be no reason to sell it anymore.
+Rob Lewis Exactly. The reposition rate of the new jobs created by robots are lesser than years before. Thats a fact and a problem too.I wonder if the energy left on the Earth would provide enough for the incoming rocketed demand
+Don Mon Anythings better than being in trucks. Just got hired, and I guess my initiation isn't over yet. I was told trucks is the most physical job there and that I will have to work it for at least a week, maybe 2 , before being cross trained. Huh. What a nice way to break in new hires. Looking for another job ASAP.
CNET Update - Get ready for Green Monday. It's Black Friday Part 2
//www.cnet.com/cnet-update/ The biggest online-shopping day of December will offer more deals. Meanwhile, Walmart launches its own mobile-payment ...
Walmart pay no one will use it just like apple pay and the rest of them
using your card is just as easy instead of setting up all new pins and
passwords that you have to use stupid upper case as well as every other
stupid words that you probably won't remember next time you try and do it
+Richard Champness A lot of people use Apple Pay and Google Wallet. Walmart Pay is totally different and not easy like Apple or Google. All you have to do with Apple or Google is hold your phone up to the terminal. They also use a finger print scan so there's no password involved.
+z00h No. If you start playing with the software and you fuck it up and you' re like Dealer fix it under warranty. Well that's why they don't want you to play with the software.
+TheMidnightNarwhal Eh? What's not technically mine? If I want to take a huge dump inside my new seven series that I just dropped 100k on are you saying that I can't because it's not mine because someone has a patent on how they dye the leather? Shiiiiit, you crazey or brainwashed bwoay?
+z00h I mean, it 's not technically yours and it's understandable that if you modify some of it it can just break it and render it useless. But it's still possible, at your own risk. The manufacturer won't know what you're going to do with the coding, you could just screw it up and be like can I get another one warranty. It's your fault if you screw it up.
+TheMidnightNarwhal come off it, it's not about monetizing shit that you reverse engineered (which can be classes as theft). It's about you not being allowed to do whatever the fuck you want with equipment you technically own because you paid for it. Welcome to 1984.
+TheMidnightNarwhal That's completely different than what he discussed in the video. Modifying your own car isn't reverse engineering someone else's idea to produce your own version of their product that you then sell to compete with theirs in the market. You should be able to do anything you want with things you own for your own personal use.
+Nayr747 Not really. If you could reverse engineer and then come out with something of your own, it;s be so stealing. Let's you create your own game and someone reverse engineer it and just change some stuff. They stole your work and they imply add 2 3 things.
