Privacy is the entire point of FSAVED. This policy explains, in plain language, what we do and do not collect.
We do not require an account, an email address, or any sign-up to download. We do not keep logs of the URLs you paste, and we do not store your IP address against your activity. We do not build a profile of you, and there is no advertising or third-party tracking on this site.
Your download history ("Your library") is stored only in your own browser using local storage. It is never synced to our servers. You can clear it instantly with the "Clear history" button, or by clearing your browser's site data. Everything works inside a private / incognito window.
We store a few small preferences in your browser's local storage: your theme (day/night), your chosen language, and whether you have confirmed you are 18 or older. These never leave your device and are not personal identifiers. When you confirm you are 18 or older, we also set one small, signed cookie that records only that confirmation and its expiry — it holds no account, name or identifier, and clears when it expires or when you clear your browser.
You can use FSAVED with no account at all — downloading never requires one. If you choose to create an account, we store only two things: your email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never keep the password itself). It exists only to sign you in. While you are signed in we set a single session cookie so the site remembers you; logging out clears it, and anonymous use sets no such cookie. You can ask us to delete your account and its email at any time through the contact below.
Like any web service, our servers briefly process request data to deliver pages and resolve a link you ask us to download. To complete a download we fetch the file from its source and may cache a copy on our infrastructure to deliver it and to avoid re-fetching the same public clip; this cache is keyed by the content itself and carries no field that links it to you. Such data is used only to perform the action you requested and is not retained to identify you — there are no payments and no card data, because the tool is free.
