18 U.S.C. § 2257 statement

FSAVED is a general-purpose software tool that helps users save publicly accessible media from third-party websites. FSAVED does not produce, create, direct, or upload any visual depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct, and is not the originating source of any such content. When a user asks FSAVED to save a video, the file is fetched from the third-party platform that publishes it and delivered to that user; where a copy is cached on our infrastructure, it is solely to complete and speed up that delivery. FSAVED does not curate, edit, or operate a library of sexually explicit works.

Because FSAVED is not a "producer" of any content within the meaning of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and § 2257A, the record-keeping requirements of those sections do not apply to FSAVED with respect to content accessed through third-party platforms.

All performers depicted in any content accessed through third-party platforms are represented by those platforms to have been at least 18 years of age at the time of production. Records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 for such content are maintained by the original producers and the platforms that host it. Any inquiries regarding the age or records of performers in a specific video must be directed to the original producing platform from which the content originates.
