+Shadearrow12 ahhhh yes it worked!!! thankyou so much for these videos!! oh man around 63,000 something steps on the final stretch both my screens went black and i freaked out cause I thought I'd finally broken my game and wasted nearly 4 hours but I could still here the music playing and changing, and i could still hear my bike responding to me switching gears? the poketch still made sounds when i clicked the button too, even though i couldn't see it. I couldn't open the menu at first and i thought about shutting the power off and giving up, but going a bit farther I tried opening the menu again and I heard it pop up and when I clicked a it opened the pokedex and when i shut it my bottom screen was back and my trainer was still going through the void and amazingly I could still continue on to new moon island. this has been such a nerve racking experience

WHAT KIND OF SICK JOKE IS THIS i WAS SO CLOSE DAMN YOU RESTAURANT GUY! uuuGh sorry I just spent two sleep deprived hours doings this and now I have to start over again oh my GOD has that ever happened to anyone else?

+Shadearrow12 Well I went 64,500 steps and didn't find anything so that was fun BUT then I found that you can use an escape rope when it puts you in turnback cave so THANK GOD FOR THAT I'll probably try again though because I still haven't learned my lesson. I'll probably bring a pokemon with teleport rather than fly though, hopefully that will actually work.

+ohnickel Is it possible to just put your DS into the date of the release of Darkrai then enter the mystery gift and try to get the pokemon again or will it just say no gifts found? Also how many tries did u do to do the bike glitch cause that part is taking a loooooooooong time. does my key pad have to be used alot because mines is like a brand new DSi

In Platinum, you can access the void, but you cannot obtain a Darkrai or Shaymin.

This method can screw up your save file if executed incorrectly.

+Bram Jans ? I only had to try twice to get to Shaymin. The only ways that you can mess up is if you go off path and save in the wrong spot. If you accidentally go a step or two in the wrong direction, simply reset without saving.

+Bram Jans Gotcha. Be SUPER careful to follow the directions EXACTLY, and don't forget to bring plenty of pokeballs, a pokemon with fly or teleport, and fully heal your team beforehand.

I don't want a Shaymin that bad that I sacrefice my lvl 80+ team, including my lvl 100 torterra

+Bram Jans The way to reset is to soft reset (hit L R Start and Select all at the same time). Not 100% what will happen if you save/reset at the wrong time, but I think that if you save or reset at the wrong place it will likely softlock you (softlock mean you cannot progress in the game) or will glitch out your game somehow (being somewhere where you can't move, BSOD, etc.) So BE CAREFUL!
