A friend brought a stihl hand held blower over thats been sitting. I
checked the spark with a tester between the plug and plug wire. good spark
checked compression 125 psi. without messing with the carb I put starting
fluid in the cylinder and it would not even pop at all. Put a brand new
plug in it and check it for spark was good still won't even try to start. I
have never seen anything like this and have no answer. spark, fuel, and
compression. starting fluid is good and have used it in other motors. any
idea
+Marlen Sands Sometimes the stator pickup can get corroded or spacing can be off. It can make a spark but not one strong enough to ignite fuel. Also check to see that the flywheel key is in place. Make sure your fuel is fresh as well!
Well I need help I was just riding and I was down shifting and it just lost
all power and the throttle wasn't doing anything any more and it wouldn't
start back up I checked for spark and it's blue and it's not getting gas to
the spark plug but there was gas in the bowl
It's a 1995 rt100
Very easy to do, but make sure you mix the correct ratio for your 2 stroke engine. -32:1 for Lawnboy -40:1 for Poulan/Weed Eater, Craftsman/MTD/Troy-Bilt -50:1 ...
Just leave bottle upside down in gas can. In an hour it'll be all out. 12
minute video to add oil to gas? Just use the small bottle for one gallon
can and larger bottle for 2 to 2 1/2 gallon can. No need for different
ratios. We are not talking Space Shuttle technology. We are talking an
engine that's been around 100 years. I run mix in 2 and 4 stroke. No prob.
No need for 2 cans. 15 years doing it in same equipment. "Top end lube".
Some guys will say, "It'll ruin a 4 cycle!" They don't know.
do your lawn boy a favour and run the 50:1 echo mix through it.i used it in
my 1969 lawnboy 3002 (16:1 mix,C engine) and it loved it,then all my other
lawnboys got put on the echo 50:1 mix and they all run so much better.the
difference between the lawnboy oil and echo is that the echo is a much
higher quality oil.ever since i switched to echo i havent had to clean out
my exhaust ports anymore,my 1979 5247 hasnt had its ports cleaned in 4
years because of the echo oil!
You have a jetta....and a banshee. At the moment i own yz250f, 700r raptor,
banshee, 1000cc yamaha Rage RS, 1100cc V65 Magna, 2 XR80(go ahead make a
joke, they are fun as hell and great beer run bikes. Dont take up much room
on the trailer for trips) and my Cherokee. Thats just at the moment.
Yeah...your flop house looking back drops in your videos really shows your
making the big bucks....
if you require YouTube of all things to figure out what is required to mix
2 stroke oil and gasoline there is something wrong. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON
THE CONTAINER OF OIL, OR IN THE EQUIPMENT MANUAL. lay off the guy for
making a how-to and posting it. if he wants to talk about the price of
gasoline, or the weather so be it.
the best way to tell is if there is a holding tank for oil. like on a
lawnmower it has a seperate resovoir for oil. i think all weed wackers are
2 cycle and require mixtures. look in your owners manual or google the
model number online. also you can look at the stickers on the wacker and it
probably says it.
@bc1969214 sea foam cleans the carbon build up out of the motor.older 2
cycle engines really need sea foam because it prevents exhaust port
plugging.it also cleans the carb, add a little extra lube when the engine is
cold and can also keep gas fresh! best stuff ever! 2 cycle engines crave it.
hay lawnboy8461 can you help me i got a sthil weed eater/trim it wont run
its got brand new fuel in it and it wont run but it will if you prime it
with the oil/ gas mix right into the engine could you help i really would
hate to see this go to the landfill
i just asked anyway what it is on a 5gallon tank i mean i figured it out
before i even got a respond.....like my bad dude ive always rode four
strokes and just got my banshee 2 weeks ago so suck on it...you prolly
couldnt even handle a shee
My lawn boy takes 8 ounces for every gallon. And I like how it said that
right next to the gas tank so I know what im putting in. I think the old 2
stokes are a lot better than the new lawn boys they just seem cheap to me.
Thanks, good video, all do respect, i might have missed something, but if
there was already 1 gallon of gas for the 2.6oz. Echo mix already in the
gas can. Why the top-off? Wouldn't that unbalance the mix? Thanks
you sound like a idiot, im 18years old, with a job at KLEENRITE im sorry
but i bought my jetta, put over 5k into the motor, and i bought my banshee
so suck on a cock you prick! KEEP TROLLIN YOU UNEMPLOYED HILL BILLY
well you mix 5 gallons of fuel to 5x 32% oil so evey 5 gallons add 5x32%
oil to it i prefare to do it bulk aswell because its quicker just mesure
out oil instead of fuel because it will take longer to mix it up
Is it necessary to add a fuel stabilizer like Sta-Bil (or even Seafoam like
in the video) if I use the OEM Echo 50:1 Power Blend oil ? I read on the
bottle that it already contains a stabilizer.
I wouldnt brag about working for kleenrite......Probably only place you
could get in with out having to do a piss text first. Real jobs you have to
put on your big boy pants and not smoke weed.
Can someone please explain to me what the 50:1 , 8:1 ratio means? like does
it mean 50 ounces of oil for 1 gallon of gas? Sorry if i sound dumb i just
want the best mixture for my Kawasaki KX65
i dont even gert what your talking about because only a dumbass would get a
load out to buy a car from 2001, and even a banshee than was only
1500......smart ppl dont get loans for cheap shit
I dont drove or own a geo tracker. Also i own all my toys...not the
bank...if you even do own anything your broke umemplyment collecting ass
probably had to take loans out on the stuff.
no it will tear up your dirt bike ask a local motorcycle shop what ratio
you need and get oil from the shop there id diffrent kinds of two stroke
oil. i thought it was the same to!
thing is gasoline goes bad after a couple of weeks, so i don't want to use
a full gallon of gas, thus how do you mix oil/gas for just one use of the
gas trimmer per week.
Has pipes, reeds and is jetted. Jetting has nothing to do with ratio. It is
still going to be the same ratio of mix going through the jet no matter the
size of the jet.
well i want a rc gasar plane and i am planing to put a 3litre fuel tank on
it so 5 litres of fuel wont do me with that size fuel tank so i say 15
litres fuel container
If the weed eater tank hold 1 Gallon you could but I have not seen any with
tanks that big. However, if you did it would gum up the crab and fool the
plug with oil.
How to mix the gas on a kdx 50
Showing you how to fill the gas/oil mix on a 2006 kdx 50..... The gas mixes with the oil automatically on a precise 32:1 ratio.
this a video explaining in detail how to mix petrol and oil for your 2 stroke engine, these are the most common measurements for mixing petrol to oil .16 to 1 mix ...
@brendonv101 so u use 1 littler oil in 20 litter petrol what kind of bike
are your driving if its a banshee you better use 1 litter in 30 so just buy
15 litter and put a bit less then half cause u will need 32:1 i use to use
24:1 in my banshee because that what is said in the manual but that only if
u use the yamalube witch is pretty light thats why i had to clean the
carborators every month i now run 38:1 and it runs perfect no problems what
so ever
Respond to this video...Sorry, I meant so you can tell there is oil in the
petrol. You really don't want to put neat petrol in an engine. I mix 5
litres at a time for chainsaw, etc.
wow u do it the hard way. On the side of the bottle is a viewing glass. I
just put 250ml in my empty fuel tank then go down to the servo and put in
5L.
@Naturepheonix to be honest i dont really know...its probably got something
in it to make it burn cleaner and produce less smoke compared to normal oil
