As I smoke a bit of ash
I get a blast from the past
Where it was a Time
where you have no hassle
nowadays life is unravelling fast
* Around and round
you put me down
You slammed my head into the ground
you keep me there
your not fair
you dirty mingy underwear
*Got no sun
Got no fun
Got no cash
got no ash
got no dope
got no hope
without this in life
life comes to be one big joke
*Do not give a fuck
Got no luck
people say what's up chuck
I tell them I'm no duck
Society's thrown me a brick
instead of a life preserver
drowning in my surroundings
Doom and gloom confounding
As my head is pounding
Now life is not resounding
Going through my stash
I found some hash.
God it's no joke
when I made my smoke from my stash.
I got a blast from the past
God it's good hash .
Now life isn't as mish mashed
Now smoking the hash life isn't that bad
thanks to the hash hiding in my stash
MY LUCKY FIND MY LUCKY FIND
Richard Burton reads Dylan Thomas's poem 'Before I knocked'
With thanks to YouTuber HughJason who made this upload possible. It is remarkable, to say the least, that Dylan Thomas wrote this poem when still a teenager.
