Mate your not alone! Cracking jacks is the peak of East Coast fishing very hard to do and very time consuming... We are definitely not experts personally I've caught 1 and the other boys are still jack virgins but if we manage to crack the pattern we will be sure to throw out a few hints!

I was there when they cleared Bell Street and The Transit center was
flooded, I was on the last train after being trapped in Brisbane all day.
Damn lucky I got out of there.
