Point Break (2015) Trailer #1 Official - Luke Bracey, Edgar Ramirez

I don't understand why this movie is called Point Break... The first movie
was a film about surfing and the euphemistic connection in reaching one's
breaking point. The 'Point Break' refers to the place where waves hit a
point of land or rocks jutting out from the coastline. This makes as much
sense as naming the 'Karate Kid' reboot the same name even though they are
studying Kung Fu...
This is obviously just a corporate grab to capitalize on the success of
Fast and the Furious, while exploiting a well known name from the past...
I mean I've never seen the original.. But this doesn't really wow me in any
way maybe after a second trailer or so but it seems like its gonna be
pretty bland
+PP We get it: You turned off replies so that you could post an inane and
idiotic comment without fear of response. This film is directed by an
extremely talented director and shot by a legendary cinematographer
starring top notch actors and the response so far is calling for Oscars in
damn near all aspects of this film's making.

Fifth Gear: Tiff drives the LEXUS IS-F
Lexus IS-F. So I finally decided to upload a video after taking a break for ages lol.
The Lexus is not luxurious, e.g. a nasty hidden plastic switch to activate
sport mode, as opposed to the STI's sexy illuminated central control. I
found the entire layout of the ISF satnav & controls to be bloated & cheap.
Considering the ISF is a rich-man's sport sedan, the lack of legroom is
very surprising compared to the STI. I have the 4-door wingless STI, with
black rims and windows, so very similar to the ISF, i love this look. The
ISF is sexy, but the STI is sexier, faster, cheaper, AWD
here's the deal with performance cars the engines are under alot of stress,
even well built performance cars need regular service just to keep them in
a safe condition the makers spent alot of time making shure it handles in a
way so their customers dont kill themselves with a performance car you MUST
rely on a good dealer network to keep your car happy and going with a tuned
car, you're at the mercy of woever glued it together and when something
breaks, you're on your own with fixing it
Yes it is and is not a waste of time. The bleeping means you're too high of
an RPM to shift down. Good for saving your engine from over revving. It
also bleeps when you reach the REV limit, so you can concentrate on the
road instead of having to look down on the RPM meter. Brilliant! Same thing
with 8 speed transmission which the new BMW's will now have. Funny how when
the ISF first came out some people said it had too many gears. Now they are
copying it. Toyota for the Win!
I see no auto skills at all. well yeah thats why they make those cars too
and sell them for 5x what they are really worth. Dont get me wrong i love
the ISF but it still isn't a supra. Its the engine that made the supra
stand out from any other car not the body, features or performance out the
box. It was like taking a IS250 and spending 6 grand to make it a ISF then
spending 8 more grand to become a LF-A and it just kept going until you hit
1,200 HP with stock engine
If your 24 then and be into such performance cars how is it that you don't
have one ounce of tuner in you? Yea i got the traditional blue with black,
mine was used too. I think brand new was a little too much but a big jump
from the 350 even though the 350 wasn't a push over. Not like that wack ass
250. I hate it when people ask how can i make my 250 faster. I paid 37,450
they don't sell too high in NYC since they need to get rid of them faster,
too many pot holes.
As well as they do me :) I'm just like look the day they make faster
electric cars that can do 0-60 in under 6 seconds, not expensive like hell
and with a good looking body then i'll buy one. Until then move out of my
way cause this lex is hungry for octane 93. You know i never liked the
shape of those damn trucks. Some one who lives near me has a 1992 or 1995,
around there rover. I dont have a fav SUV though.... i do how ever like the
tundra and the old ram.
So it's useless. If you are a driver who doesn't know when to shift on the
track, you're not supposed to be on the track then. Every and I mean EVERY
at least a bit competent driver hears when to shift. WITHOUT A BLEEP!
That's just a modern, useless and very american gimmick with no real use.
You'll know when you can't shift down, because it won't shift! And yes, the
gearbox is very good, I like driving the IS-F. Very solid and well designer
car.
i own this car. i tested the m3 and m5, but this car always left me
smiling.. BMW's are good....but this car is me. big, bulbous, loud, mean,
fast, and sweet, plus the exhaust is amazing. its loud, but not... just
listen. .. !!! plus the car will last. the m5 will fall apart. i love the
look of the bmw....but i love my lexus isf. sweet car. even better than the
mercedes e55amg. u guys rock !!! i need a 600 hp ISF in 2012 !!!!!
plus i dont see how spending 20 grand on top of the cars value a shit load
when the out come is you smoking vettes and chasing down 100K+ cars. and i
think you meant to put that you, yourself would never need more then 612
not people in general. If the supra was still around there wouldn't be a
ISF it wouldn't make any sense to have any of the IS models and SC. LF-A
wouldn't stand a chance in the market either.
The ISF has a solid feel to it. I tracked the car from 9am all the way to
4.30pm one day, zero brake fade or problems. I washed the car, vacuumed the
interior and voila, it's back to the comfortable cruiser that my wife
loves. I know other owners that have put 80,000 miles on the car and it
still looks and feels the same as it did rolling out of the dealer's
driveway. Very well built car.
@arche024 Different crowd mate. M3 is for hooligans and youngsters, a very
lively car, gets the blood boiling. Lexus is the old ppl luxury really,
people approach it with that view, and that dampens all the experience.
Good car, it just needs more pedigree, maybe if they make more cars like
this and the LFA theyll set their name in stone for the years to come. I
went C63 myself.
Breathtaking. That was a very fair review compare to the bias topgear
reviews. I just got my ISF and I regret not buying this car when it first
came. The ISF is an amazing grace, I just can't get enough of it. The m3 is
nice too but the exterior is too boxy for me, the m3 seems like they made
it to attract the older people.
I also have one and it is awesome. It can be quiet, really quiet and comfy
and stealthy. And of course, it can also be loud and fast. I bought the
blue 2011. I kinda regret though getting the the white leather seats since
it easily gets stained. The white seats are now kinda bluish from the
indigo that bleeds from my jeans.
The ISF is kind of bland looking but the STi is downright ugly. Also,
ladies could care less about Subaru, but they will happily blow you in a
high-end Lexus. The Lexus is also much more luxurious on the inside. Subaru
makes a great engine but they can't design cars..that knew BRZ looks good
but it was designed by Toyota.
You're a twit. Everyone's got WRXs or overpriced STIs and they are all
based on a cheap $20k car body called an Imprezza. You want to be noticed,
get a toyota GT-Four. That is sexy looks. Your STI is just fugly garvey.
But a 20 year old GT-Four is nothing like this awesome ISF, but it could be
something you can afford.
I have a 2011 STI. I just test drove a 2010 ISF and was extremely
disappointed. The STI kills it in many ways - speed, space, feel. The ISF
looks sexy from certain angles, however the nose and glued-on exhausts are
damn ugly. The STi is by far the better car and costs half the price. Just
my opinion.
...in an NSF game maybe the real world looks different...you'll be at the
side of the road with your toy car smoking and leaking oil while, for the
sake of comedic argument, i drive past in my well built ISF, which will
never break, because its a toyota, laughing and taking pictures with my
phone :D
Do a couple of track days in this car and you start to appreciate the
bleep. When you're concentrating on following the racing line, the bleep
allows you to keep your eyes on the road. It's also deliberately loud
enough to be heard even with a helmet on. I love the feature on my 2012 ISF.
Actually it is! If you read the facts sheet on the LS600 and LS600h, they
both have 5.0L V8s (slight modified for the hybrid of course), this is the
same engine just in a smaller car but it still is an exhilarating car!! I
used to work for Lexus so I know this for a fact!
you will never need more then 612bhp in ANY car... and i dont see the point
in tuning....you spend a shit load of money to make a car look embaressing
and i dont believe some yobbo with a plastic body kit knows better then an
engineer with a degree in engineering
I'm not gonna lie, this is MILES better than Top Gears Review. And when TG
drove it, they said the ISF was 100kg heavier than an M3 when its actually
around 30kg. I love the Lexus, I'd have one of these over almost any four
door saloon.
well its not a truck and its not an suv...its a 4x4...THE 4x4....its
actually quite economical...it has a 2.0 engine out of the Ford Transit
van...ok you wont break any land speed records but it can cruise along
arround 70-80mph
The thing I like about the ISF over the German luxury sport saloons is it
is much easier to modify. With the ISF you don't need the navigation or
premium sound packages and you can easily put in a superior aftermarket
system.
nah i dont mean that type of tuning that's ricing lol. Like even though i
have my ISF, i still have the supra my uncle gave me which was 220 or 250
stock, i forget what the 97 TT came with. But it's now with 750 @W.
Ok i agree with you with the 8 gears being ok, but the drive, a enthusiast
will listen to the engine an will know when to change up or down... He
doesn't want some bleep telling him when he's right or wrong.
i used to like that tuning malarky when i was a teen...then i reached the
age of reason to be honest, tuned cars over here in the UK staple you as a
delinquent and people think you have a criminal record
well i still have my old car that i had before the ISF, which is a Land
Rover Defender 110SW 1992...it was my first car...paid 6000 quid for it,
second hand, fully restored all ecomentallists hate me :D
Redline an RX-8 and that beep will all be put into perspective. The RX-8
doesn't even beep, it just gives a constant piercing tone even though the
car NEEDS to be redlined regularly.
Legend - Movie Review (TIFF 2015) Tom Hardy, gangster film
//www.joblo.com Legend - Movie Review (TIFF 2015) Tom Hardy, gangster film Chris Bumbray reviews Legend, the tale of real-life twin brother gangsters ...
This and Black Mass were INCREDIBLY disappointing considering you had
terrific actors in Depp and Hardy and put them in very mediocre films. I
guess Scorsese is the only film director who can still make a great
gangster film. SMH
