Find out what your weaknesses are effecting your disability. Do you suffer
with short term memory, reading, writing, etc. Do not dwell on negatives
and try and think positive about what you are good at. If you are poor at
remembering things and struggle with note taking try taking a dictaphone in
to class. Experiment with different font sizes and coloured paper. Try mind
mapping instead of writing loads of notes. There are many strategies to
help with learning, find what works for you.

@1982CFD he was a narcissist, and just seems like a terrible person on
almost every account of people in his personal life. (just google "picasso"
and narcissism" and i sure something will come up) as for his art, i may
have been speaking out of my league, my thing is biographies, not art
criticism, and although art is widely believed to be mostly arbitrary, most
art critics will agree if he's is if not "the most", he is at least one of
the greatest over rated painters of all time.
I'm not so sure about picasso, or edison for that matter, making the world
a better place. about 90% of the inventions edison took credit for were
other peoples, beside making the first phonograph, and a shitty one at
that. he's prolly the most overated inventer in history. he should be seen
more as a tyrannical business man than an intellect. and piccaso? there's a
million things worse about this dude than just being the most completely
over rated person in history ever.
I am extremly dyslecix and dyscalculus. I know what it is like to have
people make fun of you because of that. Thank god I am home schooled, so I
don't get as much as I would propaly get in school, but I still get it. One
thing I have learned is that some people make fun because I can use a spell
checker in test and get more time to do in class assinments, so they are
jelous. But it is still hard. Thanks for posting this vedio to help people
know about us and stuff!
i had a mild learning disability and was always called very forgetful and a
retard obviously. but now as i look back at it, i thought i was always
dyslexic with reading. i would read, read and read and nothing came out in
my mind, nothing at all. i struggled with so many things as a child growing
up and now i come to realize that all that has changed, i can drive, i took
on normal high school classes and on my way to college. this is a very
inspirational video.
Most of these people had autism or Asperger's syndrome. Neither of these
could be classed as a learning disability given the effects that they had
on the person suffering from them. They are social disorders really-someone
like Newton had vast intelligence when it came to Maths, but had little
social intelligence. The same is true for Einstein, van Gogh, Beethoven,
Gates and Hitchcock.
After Churchill you have a fly over of Spitfires of the Battle of Britian.
Also you forgot General George Patton too. Let's not forget that Churchill
and Patton who kicked Hitler's ass so many times, without them, Hitler
would target people with Learning difficulties for the Final Soultion.
Thank Winston Churchill and George Patton saving the world from Hitler
I have ADHD, and while I do horribly in school I ended up a preofessional
pastel artist at the age of 14. Yet, somehow, I let it get to me and ended
up with Clinical depression. When I was only 12 or 13, and didnt get better
till I was 15. But now, I just tell those teachers who say I'll never be in
college to piss off. I can do it, I know I can!
@MGX890 me too! exactly the same way. never did homeworks, got abuses &
beatings from teachers. everybody thought i was hopeless & doubted if i
could go to high school. to my own surprise i did very well. graduated from
top schools in the world - iit bombay & stanford. next i wanna be the
dyslexic billionaire.
Somebody tell me what do you do when you excel at one part of an area and
are deficient in another? I couldn't pass the math in school, the GED or
any test to be a nurse and am now afraid of taking an online test to be a
teacher's aide. Schools and etc. DO NOT ACCEPT YOU unless you PASS
EVERYTHING!!!
@georgieonmymindgreat. these people made their own logic that WE learn
today. Many of them had Autism like in my video "Famous people with Autism"
You know, Bill Gates dropped out of harvard on what he called a "little
business idea." lol
