Some of his stuf is "out there" For me the question is how does this thesis resonate form me. When he talks about "waking up" his point of view is a metaphor or an analogy for the trance like auto-pilot condition that we can find ourselves in. Basically he is saying once you wake up the challenge is to begin thinking for yourself which sounds right to me and has worked in personal quest to live my life on purpose. we all choose our own oracles

the problem with these types of theories is it gives certain individuals a thought process of..whats the point? if were merely an illusion what is the point of life, taking care of family, ppl? this illusion theory is simliar to maya in hinduism..it seems alot of these newer new age theories are trying to mix in old eastern ideals..although i agree with icke on certain things..some things are just suspect
