Easy paper CD CASE with TItle Window (Letter size)
Turn your used letter size paper into CD/DVD case that has a title window. No measuring, scissors, rulers, or glues needed. Quick and easily done in a minute.
@papercraftspc // Well, the difference is the paper size. Like the title
says, this video clip is for "LETTER SIZE" paper, which is common in the
States. On the other hand, there is same CD CASE video footage, but is for
"A4 SIZE" paper, which is common in most European countries and Australia.
So I had to make two versions of "CD CASE". If you're asking why two
identical "CD CASE" video clips, it is because the other half of the the
globe uses different paper size called A4. Cheers!
Sorry to hear that. But as you can see, this paper folding results in a
flat 2D product while the CD we intend to put in has 3D shape. It is the
"thickness" about 1mm what makes your CD hardly fit in the paper case. If
this is the case, there are 2 solutions to this. 1) Make your folds a
little generously, as generous as 1mm. 2) When you put in your CD, after
your case is done, make your paper case fit to your CD as your CD slips in
by readjusting folded edges. Hope this helps.
Michael,
I used your A4 paper folding technique on Letter size paper with only one
change to make CD holders. it would save you two steps in this video, and
you don't have the crease mark down the side.
And thank you very much for the A4 video!!!

I used this idea to make the holders in the CD case I made. It worked out
perfectly because all I had to do was glue them down to some card stock.
The little tab at the top keeps them from falling out and I can see which
CD it is. Thank you so much.
Wonderful idea. Comes out the perfect size every time without even using a
CD as a guide. Small folds allows the to project lie flat easily. No
warping. Plus the CD won't slide out.
