Very nice. Low flat approaches are risky because they require power to maintain. If the engine quits, you won't make the field. Which is why it's better to do a high engine idle approach, and use flaps when required. That way if the engine quits you will always make the field. We like to think it'll never happen, but as pilots we're train (as you know) to prepare and anticipate it happening, so that when it does, it doesn't kill anyone.

+NeonsStyle Definitely agree, my friend. First time I was too high, second time around, too low. Average them out and it was right on the money! No excuse for sloppiness.

Hi +seacraft channel I have actually switched over to Prepa3d but also keep FSX on my machine. I can appreciate your love of the Cirrus, I'm a bit smitten too. :) The add-on that I use is the Carenado SR22T. It's a pretty decent representation though the Garmin Perspective system is lacking some functionality. Good luck on your training!

nice landings. 160bhp though for 172N, right? I think the SP gets the extra 20bhp using basically the same engine and electronic ignition/timing (or I'd love to know what other changes achieve 180bhp). thanks

very nice - yes, that extra 20hp will be invaluable in Colorado. It's also too easy to reach the max certificated takeoff weight in a standard 172N...sounds like a great conversion and wish they all had this. Thanks for the info.

hi +davet11 - this plane, N737JR, has a 180hp conversion done by Penn Yan Aero in Penn Yan, NY. It's an STC for 180hp Lycoming O-360-A4M engine and a new Sensenich prop, among other things. The STC also allows for a max. certificated takeoff weight of 2,550lbs (with a limited 30° of flap travel). I can tell you from experience that it's great to have the extra 20hp here in Colorado!

I have been in Gymnastics for 7 years and i have been practicing my back handspring for 2 years. I constantly throw my head, or hips, or my arms or stomach, as my gymnastics teacher says, are like noodles. I can do, on the mat, a front handpring, back walkover, cartwheel, one handed cartweel, barrel rolls, round off, hand walks. On the trampoline I can do a front flip, side ariel, and front ariel. I can do the uneven bars. So the "noodle" arms and stomach are not because im not fit. Any tips?

Btw, I can totally spot that you have the same technique that Nastia Liukin has. Now before you get haters comment, I'm gonna add that OBVIOUSLY nastia's better, she wouldnt be an olympian champ if she wasn't but I feel like you have the same beautiful lines that she does :P Are you a fan of Nastia?

okay i had my headphones in and at the beggining when she was talking i couldnt hear her so i turned my volume up all th wat and still couldnt hear her!!!! and then the music came on and i swear i lost my hearing!!!!

@Oshkosh619 - Part 3 - ...able to go to Herr Street to see what PSP cars come in new and what will be sold, you may be surprised what cars come thru that they only buy 1 of or a few of and that is it. they do that to see how they would work under conditions, if they like them, they buy loads of the units. They had only one marked Dodge Charger, haven't seen it since a few years ago. I remember the 85 Dipomats and I almost bought a few of them but they did some type of experiments with them...

@Oshkosh619 Thanks for leaving your comment and you know your PSP cars quite well. Actually I figured that the spot light on my car was an add on from whoever had it (Barracks Location). I noticed it fit ok but there was some black adhesive behind the light plate, so I will go with what you said about it not being a factory add on. However, the silver car was assigned to the PSP Beaver barracks as per the sale sheet in the window, also I was able to speak with some of the employees......

@Oshkosh619 - Part 2 - who at the time worked at the Forrest Street and State Street location when the PA Department of General Services used to run the auctions before Manhiem was contracted to run the auctions now. In the day, it was nice to be able to talk to the State workers because they could tell you the cars history. When the the 2 cars in the video came thru, there were only about 10 of them, the same year and color that went thru, that was it. I live in Harrisburg and am.....

@Oshkosh619 - Part 4 - , I seen three Dipolmats and 2 - 1984 Crown Vics, they would only sell them as scrap so I couldnt get any of then. I still also own a 1991 unmarked PSP Crown Victoria, Tan from their Gettysburg Location and a 1992 Caprice that belongs to Ernie Preate, Police Package but I was hit by a drunk driver in 2006 and need to replace the two passenger side doors, which I may not and take it out of my warehouse to sell. thanks again for your history you have shared.
