Case manufacturers should now add a metal piece on the side of the case when creating a case for v10. It would be much better so that users don't have to ruin the looks of their case.

+Chris Horsley It IS an LG issue, no doubt. I hope they fix it soon because it is an amazing phone. Maybe that was a made up story but LG used the word "improve". +Fahad Leo I haven't seen that, but I will have to look for it. This is definitely an lg problem though, imo, as apparently not all the v10 have this issue. And other phones, like iPhone, have fingerprint scanners that work fine with a case because there's no additional contact points..

+Chris Horsley Yeah but when i researched about the issue, i read somewhere that LG said the case manufacturers are responsible so i guess it is something to do with the hardware rather than software.

The only word I've seen is from Ringke. They say they're waiting for LG to release a firmware update that fixes the issue. This is probably what everyone (spigen, casement, etc) is doing, so hopefully a fix will be rolling out soon..

I have the Obliq case and it works without having to do that but not 100% but like 90 % of the time it works. I have the T-Mobile version. on another note. which screen protector you got on? it goes over the cameras! does it hinder picture quality at all? I have the yootech glass protector and has a cut out for the cameras.

The screen protector is the Spigen Glastr and it does not affect the camera quality at all.

If you watch the dude Flossy Carter's video on the Spigen and Verus cases they all work his device I have 2 of the cases he review and they don't work on mine I have seen other people with the Obliq at my job some work some don't each device is different.

This worked to perfection. I attempted it 5 times and worked 100%. Used a pin before cause the fingerprint had me frustrated. Thank you!!

+sajad haghparast when you go out in public today look around you will see most people with cases on there phones. If you don't like a case that's all on you but for 1000 dollar's I will put a case on my phone.
