Well you're probably much better than me, that system seems pretty complicated. I just use Smith's pocket pal knife sharpener for everything and it seems to work fine. That's about as low-tech and hands off as it gets.

Kentucky Woodsman is a great guy and he has a really nice channel. I already have him subbed. You gave him an excellent shout out. Thanks. I really like your knife sharpening system. I have never seen this one before. Most of the systems like this I have seen are much more elaborate and yes I am sure much more expensive. I appreciate you showing us. Take care.

+Sleeves Thanks man! Yeah I thought you were a subscriber as well, he has a really cool channel. The knife sharpening system I use is pretty cool and it works great for me and my very meager skills. I don't think Smiths is still making this set, I have not seen it for sale anywhere in a while. I went to Smith's website and couldn't find the kit on your video, but they do sell a large assortment of knives and sharpening tools...and I subbed Kentucky Woodsman.

I was just recently looking at their display in the same store where I bought this and they no longer have it, replaced by something similar but not quite the same thing. nice shout out SNR Kentucky Woodsman has a nice channel cool set up you have from smith looks like it would do a good job i need to work on my knife sharpening skills would like to be able to put an even sharper edge on a knife thanks for sharing

Ha, I see all these outdoor guys trying to sharpen their knives with expensive gizmos and power grinders until their blades are destroyed and they say " It just won't take an edge". Ha, they don't have a clue... good job!
