HTC EVO 4G LTE Smartphone for Sprint Sneak Peek from Wirefly
For the best prices on phones, visit //bit.ly/Wirefly_YouTube Get a sneak peek at the HTC EVO 4G LTE for Sprint from Wirefly's Scott Lewis. Learn about all of ...
Scott,no I am not in your video planning but is a Great Idea, after all
Google Wallet is fairly new to all of us including me.So a little tips and
tricks here and there would be fun.I am expecting to get an Evo LTE and I
do notice a lot of places in my area have Paypass Terminal and most of all
its a very great way of showing off the Evo LTE with NFC ...Can't wait for
your video on Google Wallet ..Hey and don't forget you yet still need to
give us a full review on HTC EVO LTE ....
I ordered my HTC Evo Lte through yall and Wirefly has yet to even get
phones in. Best Buy and RadioShack have already received phones and sent
out pre orders. Contacting Wireflys customer service is very frustrating,
the sells rep barely speak English and never have any information. What's
the hold up? I don't think I will ever order anything from Wirefly again, I
understand why yall sell phones at a discount. If I would have only know
how frustrating all of this was going to be.
Hi Scott -- hopefully you can help answer this narrow question -- is the
camera button on the HTC Evo 4G LTE "dual-detent?" In other words, on most
digital cameras (and on the Evo 3D), the camera shutter button has a first
detent (or notch) for focusing, and the if you press further, you get to
the second detent to shoot the actual photo. No one's been able to answer
this question, and you're the first with the phone in hand. Thanks!
I waited up all night to order this phone n I got my order n a 8 this mourn
I hope its worth it or its back to a galaxy nexus I had a gnex on att n I
hate that I couldn't take advantage of unlimited data I really hope this
phone is worth the hype since phones get old n like a week now since its
always sum thing better cumin out I mean like wats next
Hi prilogistic, Great question. The specs say that it will only work on
cards up to 32GB. Any card above 32GB is the new format that is not
supported in mobile phones right now. I believe is has something to do with
the read/write speeds of the new cards. If anyone has the exact answer to
prilogistic's question please educate us. -Scott at Wirefly
I have two SanDisk 64GB MicroSDXC cards and they work fine. I've used them
in my HTC EVO 3D and in my Thunderbolt 4G with no problem. That is the
previous and two generations back, so the One series/EVO and other modern
phones should have no problem with the cards, just need to format them in
the device for them to work.
I understand brendansgaming, One thing to keep in mind is that this was a
pre-production EVO 4G LTE. I don't like using those for reviews because
they tend to have software bugs and don't review as good as the final
version. As soon as I get the finished version I will get you some more
information. -Scott at Wirefly
FANTASTIC question NeoteriX! The button feels like it has a first and
second stage but it does not do anything at the first stage. I checked the
settings and there was not an option to turn that feature on or off. Let me
know if you have any other questions. -Scott at Wirefly
Thanks TheTechTemple, You asked a question at the perfect time. I agree
about the cases. The kickstand is very hard to get out with out a case on
the EVO. You have to get your fingernail under it to pop it out. That would
be a lot harder with a case on it. -Scott at Wirefly
Hi prilogistic, I will do a full review when I get a retail packaged unit.
The one I have now is a pre-production unit. I want to give it a fair
review with final software updates. I will get it up as soon as I can get
my hands on one. -Scott at Wirefly

Fastest response ever haha. Keep up the great work! Interested to see what
kind of cases they come out with since the edge of the thin kickstand
doesn't reach the curve of the phone like it did on the old one (made it
easy to access with a case on).
Hi Keone15, I can not tell you for sure because I did not receive a
standard retail package. I received a pre-production unit and it had a
charger but no headphones. As soon as I get one to do an unboxing of I
will get it up. -Scott at Wirefly
Charmeleon Rom on the HTC EVO 4G LTE [REVIEW]
Here is a full review video of the Charmeleon Rom on your HTC EVO 4G LTE! Let me know what you think!! Be sure to subscribe! How to install: ...
Something I learned last night while messing with this ROM is that if you
already set up your stock ROM you can flash charmeleon over top and keep
all your settings and apps. Just don't wipe the system before installing
the ZIP file. when it boots up, it will have the same setup but will also
be running charmeleon. Some of the apps (bloatware) that i uninstalled were
also re-installed so it also must have the stock android apps on it as
well. Definitely worth mentioning to save configurationtime
nice video. I've always preferred AOSP over sense. But damn, looks like
they have nearly all the stuff I love about AOSP as options in the PKMN
settings. Amazing. Why any grown person would reference or associate
themselves with Pokemon is beyond me. But with building skills like this, I
guess they can do whatever they want lol . Wicked looking ROM. May just
give it a go until CM9 or AOKP is available
i put the charmeleon rom on my phone, now i notice when i try to connect my
phone to the computer to transfer pictures and videos, the pictures are
fine, but videos only have sound, no picture? when i play the videos on my
phone it's fine... it's not the media player on my computer either as it
works for many other videos.. ?
Great ROM - had to unlock and root my phone last night in order to get
this. Fully configured with the Pokemon Tweaks and very satisfied with the
Evo 4G LTE. Qbking77 is the best. I won't be missing the S3 with this
excellent ROM.
QBKING77 i enjoy all that u do but i need a lil help. I flash the
charmeleon rom by the way its the best out there, but i tryed to get my
wifi and it will not turn on at all. I get a err every time can u help. o i
tryed unf
Awesome, thanks for the quick response. according to UPS, I should have
this phone in my hands tomorrow, and have been debating what rom to throw
on here. really leaning towards charmeleon now. keep up the great work!
Hey I'm having issues installing this Rom. I saved the Rom to my sd card
but it keep saying failed when I try to install it. Should I try saving it
to my phone instead? Or is something wrong with the link?
Question, my plume, play store nor Facebook don't have menu buttons, what
do I do ?? ... I don't have a menu button , evidently but would there be a
way to make one or fix this .
If you map the capacitive buttons to give you a menu button, will that
annoying black bar come out on the bottom of the screen in apps that still
require a menu button?
At around 7:18, you skip two options that are worth mentioning. Background
color, and use background image. How much can you configure this thing
using those options?
Not all the color change work on my HTC Evo 4G LTE....mainly 3G icon
color,Gprs icon color,Edge icon color,Static signalbar color.....Am I alone
with this issue ?
Ugg, wile i hate sprints network, i am so jellouse of the EVO 4G LTE. its
much better then my ONE X on ATT, just that bigger battery and SD card slot
sells it
I can't wait till i get my Evo LTE...this is the kind of thing i loved
about my OG Evo 4G was the development. So far it's looking great for the
Evo LTE.
