+Hana Saiko I honestly wish I could. I think I've only come across maybe one or two others that don't strictly review young adult fiction but I can't remember the names off the top of my head. It's real tricky to find, you'll just have to keep looking. I honestly don't understand why everyone on BookTube does only YA. I just don't get it.
Well, if you are into gnosticism and mistery religions you will love this
book... the way P. K. Dick weaves these ancient theories into his own
cyberpunk-ish metaphysical conspiracy theory is very unique in the
literature. But if you are not quite familiar with/interested in the above
mentioned subjects... well, then dont bother yourself with the book, it
will be a pain, really
+Vicho Libros Hi Vicho, I definitely recommend We Can Remember it for You Wholesale. It's a collection of short stories and the title story was what the Total Recall movies were based on. The stories touch on many of his popular themes, time travel, philosophy, spirituality, humour, and others, it's a way to get your feet wet without diving right in ; )
Try his short stories. Some of them are very funny. Many of his ideas are coming to pass.Look in out in 20 years for advertising drones about the size of a dime flying by your ear asking you if you'd like to try something for your dandruff.
My first was Time Out of Joint. It's a good start since its in his early part of his career. A man named Ragle Gumm thinks he is living a bland life. Going about his day to day routines in 1950s America living with his sister and her husband. He even plays a daily newspaper game called Where Will The Little Green Man Be Next. Which is a logic puzzle similar to sodoku or a crossword puzzle. In fact, he has won the contest multiple times in a row. Early in the book, he goes to a park on a weekend to pass some time and relax. Climbing a nearby hill to get to the hot dog stand, he is about to order his food when the stand disappears. Where it stood is a small slip of paper that reads "Hot dog stand" He picks up the paper and puts it into his wallet next to a similar slip titled "Skyscraper" Slowly he finds that he is not going insane but becoming sane. I don't want to give away anything else but it really is a terrific book to begin with. Also, give his short stories collection a try. I hope this helps to introduce you into my favorite author.
