If your talking about the engine, it's the same engine the car came out of the factory with. It might have had new piston rings, but I'm not sure. But it's not surprising really, the engine is fed with a pressurized, filtered, regularly maintained lubrication system. Of course it'll keep going!
Once again they design an electric car that looks fucking retarded and only
hippies and weirdoes will buy. No visible rear wheels? Really? You realize
they do this so these cars will never catch on and humanity remains
dependent on oil. Kudos to Tesla for designing an electric car that
actually looks like a real fucking car. Despite the efforts of certain
disreputable rags who shall remain nameless who apparently use their
reporters to do hit pieces to try and discredit them.
Look at VW's Polo in Europe. Even with a tiny 1.2 liter diesel and a curb
weight of 2500 pounds or less, the real world average MPG is 70 or less.
one of the most efficient electric vehicles on the market is the Honda Fit
EV, and it is rated at only 118MPGe. So how can a plug-in hybrid, even as
light as small as it is get 230MPG? It can't, nowhere close unless you
hypermile it and hardly ever use the engine. Maybe 100MPG if you never plug
it in and you hypermile it
Why would you whant to chage the rear tires alot of cars now have run flat
tyres and I suspect that they are runflats so they don't have to carry a
spare tire it give more room and less weith to haul around but as far as
remouving the rear side cover i dont think it would be that hard to remouve
for service remember the old car with side skirts you could remouve them
without no tools. I love this car.
It´s a plug-in-hybrid-vehicle! That means, you (can) charge the battery
with energy from the grid. The claimed 261 mpg are just possible for
shorter distances with a fully loaded battery. Volkswagen says, the car has
a range of 550 km with 10 liters diesel. That´s a mileage of 130 mpg. Not
bad, too. But I´d prefer the predecessor VW L1: The half weight,
tandem-seater and a REAL mileage of 170 mpg.
@Aratixwrx Aero? Pretty much. However, Older cars used to use them for
style and it worked for them. Can't say that the integration of the wheel
well covers is NOT flattering at all, but the concept is sound. My mother
had a 1970 Buick Riviera. Beautiful in silver. The covers looked like part
of the cars overall design.
big differnce btween gas and desile cars in thos countrys. desile cars are
more relaiable than petrol cus its cheaper.. good combo!!! desile +
electric rear tire is the problem unless its makes with thick ruber you
have to change it every few years... lol
@moaski even if all of a sudden all new cars in the world achieve 261mpg
overnight, Qatar will still produce and sell all the gasoline they can.
They just opened a new refinery a couple of months ago. Quite huge, by the
way.
Good luck at changing those rear tires if one blows out. lol
Spider-Man Miles Morales to Join The All-New, All-Different Avengers! - IGN News
It looks like Spider-Man Miles Morales is joining the Avengers after this summer's Secret Wars comic book event. If things are indeed as they appear, that means ...
+wolffoetowtech okay, yeah I am really passionate about Miles not just because he is black like me and that is something I rarely see (diversity done right) but also because he represents innovation in comics. As they say variety is the spice of life and lack of innovation leads to mediocrity. Also, his introduction IS NOT based on a racist joke. He was inspired to take up a mantle like Batgirl. His powers been NOT LIKE A SPIDER is really irrelevant as I am sure getting bitten by a radioactive spider should give one cancer not even "powers" at all. So his at least makes sense since his spider was Genetically modified to give superpowers. Just read his comic.
+Egie Asemota I'm not saying Petar is awesome sauce .I'm just saying he is still a better character then Miles An it is obvious why you are defending Miles.Of all the things Miles is innovative and progressive is not one of them .In fact the foundation in which the character is built is the oldest ideas and racist jokes .Also his two powers he has that petar don't would be super powers to spiders .Spiders can't go invisible.and Spiders can't shock / jolt ether .
your manchild will still be around okay? I mean it has been more than 5 decades and he has remained the same womanly troubled, teenage slacker, whiner and irresponsible twat. Don't worry. he isn't going anywhere. Some of us other fans just want innovation with the character or a new character who has more redeemable qualities and is also more progressive.

I feel quite sorry for the people of the US, they have virtually no choice
when it comes to economy. For example there is a list as long as my arm of
vehicles sold in Europe that do 60+ MPG in normal driving, none of which
are silly hybrids. A Peugeot recently achieved 126 MPG in an economy test
over 3700 miles! And this car only had a 1.6 litre diesel engine, not a
hybrid! In US MPG this still works out at around 100 MPG. My best was 82
MPG in my old Fiat Panda
I saw this when I was at the NAIAS. When I found out it was mid-engine,
diesel, and rear-wheel drive, I decided this was the car for me. All I ask
from VW is this car with a manual transmission (no flappy paddle nonsense
or automatic only deal), a good suspension, and a price around $26,000
(that last one might be a bit of a dream). Oh, and perhaps a better name.
Bluesport? We can do better than that.
Why is 50mpg so impressive to americans? We have had that kind of mileage
for the last 9 or 10 years in Europe. My own car is 7 years old and i've
seen it do 65mpg on small winding roads, not highways. Americans are
falling behind since the 80's in car manufacturing technology.
Wow that car is beautiful. I'd drive it! My car gets decent gas millage.
But not 50 mpg lol. I never really cared for VW cars all that much but if
this car makes it to production it will raise my opinion of them lol. :D
good upload 5/5
Come on! Make it! I'm ready for my 8th VW. PS I've had 4 Audis and 1
Porsche too. Can't I have this new toy for my list? I liked the 3-wheel VW
motorcycle I saw at an LA Auto Show too but they never built either.

dude, they have not announced a price. Listening to the specs, it doesnt
sound as if it would be that expensive. Its DIESEL. Not some kind of hybrid
or electric engine, i.e. Tesla roadster.
@Gnometower Yes, except for cost. For whatever reason diesel costs an extra
dollar per gallon than gasoline. Which is stupid since diesel is a
by-product of gasoline.
I am still puzzled that Americans are somewhat unused to diesel in standard
cars. Diesel engines are nowadays superior in almost every aspect compared
to gasoline
I have 3 diesel VWs. An 02 Jetta and 05 Passat and an 82 Rabbit. We make
our own fuel and get great mileage. This sports car is the coolest by my
book.
