You're can't possibly travel alone! You need to enjoy it with someone... Anyway, have fun with that and remember to bring a good quality camera! Everyone seems to forget this rule.

I can't say for sure. It depends on the state. You might need to contact the state in which you'll be getting the puppy. YouTube won't let me put a link in a comment, but if you Google "Veterinary Services Area Offices," click on the first link that comes up in the results -- it should be for the USDA's website. Click on the state, and you'll get the contact information for that office. The people there should be able to provide you with information specific to that state. Good luck!

Very professional information. Thank You. It reminded me of a training video but in essence, i guess it is. I want to buy a purebred puppy out of state and fly home with it. Is the trip to the vet a one day process and with certificate in hand the same day, or is there a waiting period? Thanks
