+Steve Wilkins I no longer have a USG to play with, but if it's already been set to a local controller, you'll have to tell the USG to point to a new controller - this can be done by logging into the USG's local GUI and setting the inform address.

+Eddie Rodriquez Anytime I see that a heartbeat has been missed, I take it as a valid notification that the UAP is unable to contact the UniFi Controller. Being that I use a cloud-hosted UniFi Controller for all of my customers, this typically tells me when their Internet connection is having issues - but if you're seeing this on the local LAN, it is likely indicative of a network issue of some sort - bad switch, or bad wiring...something like that.I suppose it could also be that the UAP is defective, but that's easy enough to figure out - plug both the UniFi Controller and the UAP into a known-good switch and see if the problem persists. If it does, then it's probably a bad UAP.Thanks for watching!

(aparte de los ventiladores).Puestos a elegir, me gusta más el EdgeSwitch: tiene CLI, la interface WEB, aunque algo lenta, es resultona y fácil de llevar... dime ¿cuál es tu escenario? ¿qué necesitas hacer? ¿en qué se te queda corto el 3COM?

+@rgod360 Se puede acceder a él por SSH, pero no está preparado para ser gestionado plenamente de esa forma, es decir, no tiene comandos específicos que permitan gestionar, por ejemplo, VLANS... dicho de otra forma: no hay un #configure como en el EdgeSwitch.
