So in a situation like this, you have to understand what will get you from A to B.I played ball in highschool.   5A, we even played at the old Reliant Center. I wasn't even on the A team, I was starting B team, but even the A team knew I had skill, as well as the coach, so I played some A games, I was a 3, a shooter, 90 degree angle, single motion, similar to curry, but no turn, with a set base like K love, james jones arch, etc.One thing for me though, I never had the physical ability, I wasn't a glen davis, but I remember watching taller, faster guys, who didn't have my skill level but where standing out because they would run the whole game like horses. I hated running suicides, I hated running miles, I hated running unless it was during games, but that wasn't good enough to get a scholarship, because all they look for first is athleticism, then they'll work on skills.I understood, I didn't care about being an athletic specimen for basketball, and my body cramped up really fast, even when hydrated due to not producing enough vitamin C, so I moved on. It's either you fight what obstacles you face, or plan for the next, but understand what you're getting into, and not force yourself into doing something, as you only get one life.
