Hey Everyone, I have tried to make it a habit to film everything and anything we do, even setting up a tripod on stage to capture shows. Half way into Sound ...
based on requests A narrated version of this project is now online (new Edition 2013) with more practical details. * if my accent is difficult to understand, here is ...
Just wanted to say your simply Amazing! - and sneaky too! - I have a
question... how hard is it " really" to create a small board that plugs
into your PC using a USB connection, that allows you to power stuff (
sensors like Temp,, or an LED, or a speed sensor - simple, easy stuff. - a
USB powered breadboard ? - that would make "tinkering " with projects safe
because of the voltage and there must be thousands of things you can build
and modify and lear from an have fun with. can U build us one?
By th WAY Sammy, here is a project that I built that might be useful - I
bought a cheap LED flashlight with a dynamo crank handle charger built in.
I opened it up, and checked the voltage ( 4.7 - 4.9v ) - I found an old
mobile phone charger lead and cut the end off ( keeping the end that goes
into the phone still on of course! lol! ).- and I soldered the RED & BLACK
wires from the phone lead to the battery leads and re assembled it. - NOW I
have a go anywhere phone charger AND a flashlight!
Sammy, I have a need to build a project but I have very limited skills in
electronics. My son has a heart condition and I would like to build a
simple project that would allow me to monitor his pulse rate on a PC. ( I
have some programming skills - but not electronics) - II need some sort of
way to read a "pulse" from a wrist or finger that would be read by the PC
as a joystick button press..If this is possible, I'd GLADLY share the code
with anybody that as a need for it. like I do.
glad to hear you like my work :) for answering your questions: 1. how hard
is it ? - it depends on how much you know about electronics and how much
practical experiences you have got. 2. yes we can make thousands of USB
powered and controlled kits, various types of functions but one-thing would
remain same - Power, i mean ( we should not exceed USB's standard voltage
and current rate).
it was pre-recorded footage, i didn't have many options.it wasn't a raw
footage. the effects are there only for one reason,"to avoid digital
transitions". but yea sound is not nice, needed more work but i was
terribly exhausted with it, i try to make them better in near future
projects though :)
man i am sorry you have that problem, but i am not that advanced in
electronics, i think it would be possible with an Arduino, allowing you to
monitor input signals on computer. try to find a skilled person on
Instructables, they are helpful people there. me still doing basic
electronics :)
that s a nce work :) t sure works, you have done t rght lke a real Engneer.
next tme whle you make such projects, try to upload a vdeo of them on
youtube as well. *now please put an ( i ) on every word above, did you see
how terrible they look if you miss a character in a word :)
there was a problem with the music of this video, i had to re-edit it.
meanwhile some of subscribers requested a commentary version of this
project. soon new brand videos would be online :)
Slick! I love all the reuse to make something different that's polished and
shiny. The way you did the hidden flash-memory is neat too - who'd suspect
it's in the pen holder! Keep em coming!
yea, that is my incorrect editing, i lost Audio BASS during noise reduction
and forgot to re-gain it. i am new at Audio editing, slowly i am expecting
to get better at it :)
this is the original one.you are watching. there are only 2 videos about
this project on my channel, this and one more on my channel.

ASUS G46 Gaming Notebook with Msata SSD and win7
I would like to believe that I'm the first to install a working Msata SSD and HDD in this beast, I installed window 7 ultimate on the SSD while keeping the original ...
Do you still own your G46? I've owned mine for over two years. It was
only until recently that I decided to do a plethora of upgrades to it after
not seeing any announcements of a successor. It's the cooling that makes
this thing a gem. If a successor ever is announced, then I'll buy it.
Simple as that. Here are the upgrades I committed to with high frames and
power efficiency in mind.
- Intel Core i7 3632QM
(Most power efficient Ivy Bridge mobile processor on the market.)
- Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
(Wasn't fond of the 2230 it came with.)
- Glossy HD (1366x768) LED Backlight
(My eyes have always preferred deeper blacks. Decided to keep 1366x768 to
maintain high framerate in games.)
- Samsung 850 Pro SSD 256GB
(Uses only 2 watts of energy and I had wanted to replace that 5400rpm...)
- Crucial 16GB DDR3 1600mhz
(Reliable memory and low voltage at that.)
yes I still use mine everyday and it's still faster than most laptops out there. The 3820QM I upgraded is still running strong and i upgraded my wifi card as well, to ac 7260
