Great video. I was listening in to the Skywarn frequency throughout the storm while watching the radar on television. Amazing to listen in to Skywarn, hear reports, and then hear it mentioned on Television minutes later. The ability to have this information before it reached the media, i felt kept me far more informed and ahead of the storm with valuable information. Thanks for doing what you guys do and keeping us safe.

@1998disco72 The software is called WeatherTap (a.k.a. WxTap). It is ran by Java, so no need to install the software, it is also 8 bucks a month with no commitment, so you can subscribe monthly during storm season and cancel afterwards. The website to subscribe is weathertap[dot]com

I saw a funnel cloud pass over my house SC. thank the lord it didn't touchdown until I got over Lake Moultrie.

I lived in Lee at the time of the storm - we were all huddled in the finished basement watching the news feed from WRAL and others - had to be one of the eeriest things I ever went through.

I had a better view of this tornado as it was moving up 401. I was on my front porch about five miles away when I first saw it.

@3656761 It is so bad. It breaks my heart. They haven't had much, if any, help out that way. Since the TV news hasn't been focusing on that area, folks don't even know about how bad it is.

Yeah, it is strange how the mobile home park and nice neighborhoods got media attention, this neighborhood and Starmount and Skycrest did not get much notice.
