I didnt have that problem but my friend did when he installed FSX Acceleration on a PC that already played FSX. All he did was buy a new Graphics Card when he could afford it and as soon as he had it up and running, he installed acceleration and it worked. So, its your Video Card. You have HD 4890? never heard of it but seems its not good enough for FSX, try a modest 8600GT like me, works great and still working now

hi mate i realy need help..i love fsx but since ive updated my graphics card processor and mother board to xfx 4890 1gb a 955 quad core black edition 3.2 and an am3 mother board im having probs...when i load the game a box comes up saying my graphics card isnt good enough so i uninstalled every thing. it will run fsx but when i install fsx accelleration i get the problem again...can u please help

This is the Wilco feel there. I'm still learning to fly this complex bird. Been looking for PSS too but they only have it on FS9. Be ready for huge reduction in fps. This thing kills frame rates due to its high detail.

Absolutly Amazing :) FSX is a beautiful game when you have the PC to run it. I only have one other FS (98) along with FSX so I don't have much comparison. Nice to see glare working in 20 fps (it stutters with me) :(

Thanks. This wasnt even 20fps, with Fraps running, takes me back by at least three quarters, most of this was between 6-10 fps with fraps on. I wish we would record without sacrificing frame rates.

@cinkmoot 4890 is far more powerful than an 8600gt. fsx is more optimized for nvidia cards though. what fps r u getting with a 8600gt?

Its payware from Wilco Pub. Costed me about $45.....i think. Its cheaper than the PMDGs. Great high detail. Thanks for watching

Passing Storms/Epic Sunset Time Lapse (April 7, 2014)

Today was very similar to what you'd expect in the summer here in Texas. We had showers and storms increasing throughout the day and got multiple showers.
