I think you are making the same mistake I have been making with this
machine. I looked at another "how too" video and it clearly showed the
handle and your legs move in unison during the row. I notice your legs
clearly lag your arms (same as me). The arms should set with the legs bent
and then use your legs to push back with both arms & legs finishing at the
same time.

You're not working your legs bcuz your making your back and arms do all the
work. I recommend looking up proper rowing technique. Once you get your
legs involved you'll need that 12 setting

I have no idea. I saw, in the instructions that you COULD move them if you
want. I have small feet and it is actually better for me, although my feet
do slide out occasionally. I do agree that the pedal is weird. I might see
if I have something laying around to strap both the top and the bottom of
the foot. Don't know how comfortable that will be though. Have you tried
moving it? Is it better or worse for you?
+Mindy Hazen then why do they come shipped in the lower part of the foot pedal? the upper part would hit just the ball of my foot which would be less comfortable.
I'm interested in buying one of these but my fear is that I will outgrow
the resistance after using it a few months. what is your opinion on the
resistance?
+Ismael Gonzalez I was down a solid 1.5lbs in just a couple of weeks, but then my wife gave birth to our new baby, and I haven't been exercising, and haven't weighed myself. in over a week. So.... Started back up last night and will give it a few days, and then start weighing myself again. I'm not putting too much store in my daily weight, but more the averages. My weight can vary day to day by as much as 4lbs, so I try not to be discouraged by the pure numbers.
+Ismael Gonzalez I personally don't see myself outgrowing the resistance that quickly, if at all. Its not a body building machine, but an endurance/cardio machine, so the resistance is just that, to give you something to pull against. just like an exercise bike.
+Dan Wingert None at all. I've used it almost daily, I'm up to 850 reps in 30 minutes with the resistance set to 7 1/2. My goal is 1000 reps in 30 minutes, and then I'll start bumping up the resistance.No creaks or groans, and the foot rests are still not great, but I have new sneakers that seem to fit better, the sole isn't flared out like on my other shoes. I highly recommend this product. I was hoping to do a follow up review when I've lost 10 solid lbs. I'm and down almost 2.
