lol my friend just told me to put my hands together with no holes and i figured it out my self in a day or 2 i put my hands together like im clapping so you feel suction between your hands then curl my fingers down so they grab my hands then pull them apart and move my thumbs together then blow into them like he did then i move the fingers on my outside hand to change the pitch idk if this helps anyone but gl

@DragonBonder That's EXACTLY how I felt!! Then, today I was bored, so I put my hands to my lips and I DID IT!! Just made sure that you don't cover up the WHOLE space between ur thumbs, but DO cover ALL the top. Dont be like "space, lips, space" Do "Lips, space". Do you get wwhat I mean? HAHAHA I can even change tones now, its socool! It took me like 10 minutes od practise though for 2 days (:

this helped ALOT! all the other videos were ok but i finally learned how to do it with this video. when i was trying it out, i found out it was much easier to blow when you moved your hand slightly up instead of putting your hands straight forward AND it helps if you look straight ahead and don't look down when your trying it out. hope this helps anybody new!

Hi Michael, I am impressed with the way you are able to produce very soft/smooth tones. You must be a great hand whistler. You have any videos of you doing songs? And I am guessing you are a christian. Maybe you would be interested in my hand-whistled hymns. Good luck with school. -Sam

@jjayeeee i dont get that either. its easiest to learn if you know how to make sound by blowing into a glass bottle. then the only thing u have 2 do is learn how to position your hands right, and u just keep going till it makes a sound. just keep trying!!

i noe dis is a weird but i think i cant do this bcuz t have 2 different palm prints and one of them doesnt have a palm print that splits the air to make the sound so im physically incapible of making the whistle ;[

@atlfanatic624 well when you blow into a glass bottle you just blow regularly to make that noise i'm gonna message you a video on how i place my hands and can you tell me if i'm doing it correctly?

i can do it, just not right of the bat. i have to work maybe five minutes until i get a hoot and then when i take my hands from my face and try again, i repeat the process all over again.

Yeah, it comes and goes at the beginning. But keep trying, and eventually it'll just be muscle memory and you'll get it every time =).

I found out u don't even need your mouth on you knuckles. You can just blow in from like a foot away.
