I like this beer, especially the canned nitro version.

Beer Review # 58 Youngs Double Chocolate Stout
Youngs Double Chocolate Stout in the bottle is the beer reviewed.
had one of these after lunch today and wondered what you thought of it; i
thought it was great
aren't too many beers i can get that you haven't reviewed at this point so
you've become a great resource!
thanks, greg
Really nice beer, I mean, I've never drank chocolate beers before but damn
that smell, taste and body is highly refreshing in the sea of mexican
beers.
I've had this one on tap in a World of Beer bar in Tucson. Its much better
than the bottle version. I've seen it in a can as well, but i havent tried
that one. If it has a widget like Guinness it should be better.
+Gregsbeerreviews They just started selling those in a supermarket where i usually buy beer. And YES! it has a widget :)Its also slightly cheaper. Can't wait to try it this weekend :)
I guess I'm not the only one who truly love breakfast stout lol. Anyways,
first thing I got was chocolate. And it didn't go away, i could pick it up
every time. Same with drinking it. Stouts are my thing, I've had quite a a
few and in comparison to stouts that are not actually called chocolate
stout, yes the chocolate stands out. Now if you compare it to other
chocolate stouts, then you can really decide on which of the beers has a
stronger chocolate aroma :) excellent review, saw this after having one and
I am happy someone else could smell the chocolate right. My family for some
reason couldn't pick it up rigbt away so i thought it was some sort of
placebo effect i was going through xD
Just tried a pint bottle of this. I thought it was actually rather light on
the chocolate with thin body. Tasted more like a burnt coffee with a hint
of chocolate to me. If it had a higher ABV I might have been more
interested. I much prefer something along the lines of a Sierra Nevada
Norwhal when I want a dark stout. It wasn't bad, just not what I'm a big
fan of. I would give it a B- if I was rating it. I would not seek this one
out again, but I'm glad I tried it.
