I was able to snag a Six of this at Wegmans in Mechanicsburg for like
$9.99. Awesome to get a great beer at a great price. Maybe not as good as
Dirtwolf but you get two bottles extra for the same price.
I was fortunate to get 4-Packs from the initial (2) batches that were
sanctioned for only VT distribution...those of which I thought were much
more tropical juicy than you mention (although the Ruby Red Grapefruit and
Pine/Resinous characteristics were present)...one of my favorites from 2015
and significantly better than their Limbo.
I wonder if tasted blind, you or anyone that favors the likes of Tree
House, Bissel Brothers, 14th Star, Fiddlehead, Grey Sail, etc (i.e. East
Coast IPA) would have a different opinion of this beer...after all, Long
Trail is considered one of the "Ho-Hum" East Coast breweries, especially
when considering hoppy ales.
However, I think Space Juice is a delectable offering and raises their game
once again...they are definitely continuing to improve their portfolio -
for me, it started with Triple Bag (2011), Limbo IPA, 25th Anniversary Ale,
Triple and Barrel-Aged Triple Bag (2014) and Culmination (2015).
Thanks for taking the time to post your review!
Cheers,
B
+Brent Rusche Hmmm, it sounds like I would have liked the VT only version a little better. It's been a while since I've had Limbo, but I really liked it the few times I've had it. I'm actually not sure whether I prefer Limbo or Space Juice. I agree that Long Trail has been turning out some more interesting beers. Hopefully they keep it up. Also, a blind head-to-head tasting with any of those beers would be a great idea. I'll have to try it out if I can get this beer again. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
+bryanthrow I live in the Capital District, near Albany. Only about an hour from the Vermont state line so that's probably why we were able to get some. Has only showed up once so far (this video was from a little over a month ago) and it sold out the same day.

Greg, I live in New England...This beer is very popular out here for some
reason, however, I agree with you, I would give C, probably a C-......The
best local brewery up here out of Vermont is Otter Creek Brewing, IMO....I
would like to see you review their "Copper Ale".....It's been my fav beer
now for a few years.....It's one of the few beers I can keep on drinking in
1 session, and not get tired of......Just make sure you get a fresh one
that's not dated......Cheers ! bb
Mate, you should try Stienlager pure, its New Zealands finest beer and it
goes down like a charm. Mmmm, just typing about it makes me wanna venture
to the beer fridge to get another.
Boy, I came late to this beer. I bought a single bottle today (8/18/15) and
the bottled date is 2/12/15. Six month old beer is not ideal on this style,
but I have to say it is still delicious. Boy, I really smell and taste that
green bell pepper, especially as the beer warms in my glass. Really nice
beer. I'd give it a solid B. Thanks for the great review. Cheers!
+Steven Bush Yeah I'm trying to clear out my massive backlog of videos now. Dankness is hop resin that comes in the form of "cat piss" notes "super dark mango and pine notes" it varies though, and I can't even describe it correctly...

Great review as always. Have you reviewed the Sam Adam's Utopias? I noticed
the 2 bottles in the background and was wondering how it was. A few buddies
of mine and I are thinking about getting some.

Nice to see you guys posting videos on a regular basis again! is Melissa
still mad about you pouring water in her ear? lol This was the beer I had
on tap at the Golden Rail when I visited you guys a couple years ago.
No, you have it backwards. Why do you NOT have to work on Labor Day? You
should be laboring on Labor Day. I never did till 2013. And I was like
"finally!" Not that I enjoyed it but it made more sense to my brain.
Another good one!!! I'm losing my taste lately for IPA's. Going more for my
favorites stouts and porters. Picked up a case of Sierra Nevada Tumbler
Brown Ale, cheap :-)!! Let you know how it goes. CHEERS!!!
Nice to see you dissing the Bud light after having been a faithful consumer
of that for so long. Cheers to all of us who have seen the light, and have
refined our taste. Biiiiizzzee dat beehar!
One 90 Minute IPA and Mrs. is happy? I'd like to see a video of Mrs.
drinking a 120 Minute IPA. Good stuff. One of those does me. Sounds like a
decent beer. Cheers guys!
Thanks guys! I really enjoy your channel, please keep up the great reviews.
I hope Mrs Imasofat's ear clears up quick and cheers to sleeping
topless!!!!!!
