Wow next time tell your guys pull their pants up. Yall must like causing
more work than necessary or this must have been your first f.drain
installation. Your guys obviously are rookies with little to no experience
and your installation was mediocre at best. Anyone check the grade to
ensure proper drainage? Why lay fabric on top of gravel and pipe instead of
lining the trench before any gravel was placed inside. Straight lazy
inexperienced monkey install. I'd have you pull that crap out and redo it
all.
I recommend, if possible, instead of using that high quality top soil you
guys used to cover, that you use whatever you could screen or salvage from
the dug out areas, or at least mixed in with top soil. The reason is, that
I have a french drain in my back yard, and you can clearly see the nice
green lush grass growing on top notch soil the entire way above the pipe
through the yard vs the rest of the yard that doesnt have such high quality
soil. Kinda stands out..

scoping out all the options... dispersing a lot of water in a short span
of property just had 2" of rain yesterday and just was swamped with the
frozen turf it was 32F so just a perfect storm... figure combination of
perforated pipe 25"X 6' and a 24" drywell should do with may be another
12" drywell w/overflow cap at the tail end... question could the drywell
be at the 12' (mid span) and then tail an overflow of another 13' of 6"
perforated pipe to disperse any overflow into the last drywell
(12")...... during these dam Nor Easters...... and I am debating a Bobcat
for a day.... its just $100... and im doing of course by myself... cause
no fucking helps....
nicevideo, can you explain how you installed the overflows for the drywells
tho? did you just stick a piece of pipe in the 3 foot hole next to where
the water enters? and then you just fil around it?
do u think drywell basin are wase of $ then, It looks like you just ran it
into the hole and filled it with gravel after sticking the overflow pipe
out of the gorund, is that correct?
This is a possible solution to my problem... Thanks
