The Intel graphics driver is part of the xserver-xorg-video-intel driver
package, which is installed with Ubuntu by default. Since it isn't a
proprietary driver package, it doesn't show up in the Additional Drivers
window. To be sure you have it or didn't get removed by mistake, run this
command: sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-intel
I have the Toshiba M55-S139. I want to set up my display output, but there
is no proprietary graphics drivers for my card, which is ATI. Can you look
into that for me? I want to set up my external display system. All I have
to do in Windows is press Fn + F5.
I found some, but I get this: Detected configuration: Architecture: i686
(32-bit) X Server: unable to detect Removing temporary directory:
fglrx-install Nothing I can do now. I have the driver, but I can't get it
to install. Any suggestions?
hi..can u help me this problem? (no proprietary drivers are in use on this
system) i have 1gb nvidia graphics dedicated in my pc..what should i do..im

ATI is notorious for not working with Ubuntu. Also, Ubuntu 11.10 doesn't
handle multiple monitors well. 12.04 is supposed to be better. Try Googling
for your drivers.
Tried searching, and no driver for the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, which is the
graphics card. All they have is Windows 32/64 bit drivers. No Linux ones at
all. ^_^
I run Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I can't run the latest release because Unity won't
even display. Probably because it needs a graphics driver, which is
non-existent.
My computer's motherboard died. I can't research your issue for you as I'm
using my phone. Ubuntuforums should be able to help you install your
drivers.
