After watching your video, I purchased the Orbx trees, and guess what, it hosed my P3D sim. I started getting stutters, and eventually they got worse, and the sim wound up crashing after about 1/2 hour of flying. I finally uninstalled the trees, which wasn't that easy because there is no uninstall program that is visible. Once I got the trees off my system, it's operation returned to normal.

+Bob Cardone I lost frame rates because of it, while they claim that it increases frame rates and mind you, I have pretty much the fastest computer money can buy. I'm also not satisfied with the trees. They look good in some regions, in other regions they don't look all that great, are odly shaped, lack baked-in shadows or have odd seasonal colors.

Thanks for the review on this product. 25-30 FPS with autogen pretty much maxed out is great...but can you get that with a PMDG 737 or 777 at a payware airport?

Based on the information ORBX released....yes. Performance may be proportionate but you can still expect a 20% increase in frames. So if frames drop by 30% when using pmdg addons, you will notice a 20% increase after the 30% loss. Make sense?

My vector lights are very yellow, and they are all over. I tried disabling them and the overwhelming trees but it doesn't work. I have UTX + GEX to fall back on, but I want to get Global + Vector working properly. Any suggestions?

Your option my friend would be to tailor the settings with the Vector and Global control panels. You can change light size, colour, shape and many other settings. The Vector control panel is especially important and has the most options. Failing that your best bet is the Official OrbX forums. Cheers!//www.orbxsystems.com/forum/

Almost here :) This video now shows all major development work completed. The product has yet to be finalized and released, but it's coming very soon.

Save your money. Over hyped BS. Still photos do NOT represent flight simming. Notice the ground textures under the trees are blurred. That's what you will get with HD Trees.

+Mike Jones What are you smoking dude? Still photos? It's video, not a still photo! lol Secondly, they updated the trees, not the ground textures you fool.I do agree with your comment "Save your money. Over hyped BS", I would never buy this shit, in many areas the trees look like crap.

Na deze demovideo ben ik er zeker van: Ondanks het feit dat de detaillering van de HD Trees veel groter is dan die van de default bomen, vind ik de HD Trees absoluut minder mooi qua kleurvariaties en contrast. Ik zie maar enkele vergelijkings videostukjes waarbij ik de HD Tree versie mooier vindt. Maar, er zijn diverse andere - freeware en payware - alternatieven, die de default FSX bomen wel meer gedetailleerd maken, zonder de grote hoeveelheid bomen bij elkaar minder kleurvariatie te geven.
