( watch in HD) In this video i will show you how to obtain a anti-virus soft ware for mac, its called iAntivirus , . Is the BEST overall software for mac, to protect your ...
Mac's actually don't have any virusses, the application iAntiVirus has 104
threaths listed, while most of them are taken care of by Apple security
updates anyway. There are a few trojans and keylogger, but the chances of
getting infected are pretty much 0. So, you can download iAntiVirus for
extra security, but it's not really a necessity...
need help witch is really the best anti-virus, free or buy one i just got a
macbookpro and i wanna protected from virus, please help i dont wanna end
up paying more if this mac freezezzzz on me, i dont mine paying extra for
software, as long i get the best anti-virus thant work well with my mac.
thank you for your help
Macs dont really have viruses, but Apple themselves say no OS is 100%
immune, so you need antivirus software for the "added security", hence, the
ADDED word in that statement. When I get my Macbook I'll gladly install
this free antivirus and feel safer :)
Anti-virus for a Mac is useless. There are no known viruses for Macs out in
the wild. I had Virus Barrier X5 on my Mac for three years, and it as
pretty much useless. From my experience, I don't suggest that anyone with a
Mac install anti-virus.
Well, it seems that Mac's don't, or at least very few. Maybe some Trojans
and Keyloggers. Just like I said, there are, but there is a very low chance
of infection for a Mac. Mac's can only be carriers for Windows virusses.
thanks...i hope it works well...im pretty hesitant about "free" stuff cus i
dont think it works as well as payed applications but ill give it a
try......oh yea, that song might have been the WORST song ever!!...no
offense
need help, need to know what is really d best anti-virus software, free of
buy one, i just got a macbookpro and i dont wanna end up paying more money
if this mac freezzez on me. WHAT IS REALLY D BEST ANTI-VIRUS OUT THEIR
@LilBaby1366 heyy:) well put it this way 99.9% of all viruses are made
towards Windows os, but that does not mean people are going to start
attacking Mac osx users, so having an antivirus on your mac is a must,
Well, a lot of free stuff works pretty well, or sometimes even better than
some paid version. Avira's scanner for Windows, for instance, is a very
good anti-virus suite while you don't have to pay anything.
@oscarmtx Mac OS X is based on UNIX and UNIX is more secure then Windows so
even if they did make viruses it would be pretty hard to get in.. Also Snow
Leopard has built in Malware Protection
Maybe so, but It's not free... and VirusBarrier is a program that's too
heavy anyway. You actually don't need any protection, so some lightweight
program like this should be more then enough.
@LilBaby1366 they get a few but not at all like windows. i dont think they
sell them at best buy. i am 99% sure they dont u have to get from apple
website or apple store
i need a anti virus program! you knwo what sucks? i just used my macbook
today FIRST time out of the box and i visited some stupid page that
contained viruses!
@leandro5455 there is a small chance a mac will actually get infected with
a virus, trojan, etc. most companies make them to see if their antivirus
will work.
@neighbouroftheforest You can still find the app by running a search for
iantivirus(dot)com, :)
