Guys, guys, I have a better method!
Step 1: Get in your car.
Step 2: Go to McDonalds.
Seriously, though, making certain foods yourself is fun and tastes better
most of the time, but fries are one of those things I'll leave to fast food
places.
Have you made a video on how to perfectly cook chicken breast so that its
still moist? Chicken breast is the healthier alternative to dark meat but I
always seem to overcook it, or even under cook at times (/i don't have a
thermometer). Would love to learn a technique to enjoy them properly!
+Vania Armstrong it could be for a number of reasons...1)Check the temperature of your oven, it could be too low. You always have to preheat the oven. You can buy a small oven termometer to check the temperature.2)Do not open the oven in the first 20 minutes after putting the cake in. If the cake isn't cook trough and you open the oven, it will collapse for sure. 3)Do not overbeat the batter because you will create too much gluten and you will get the air bubbles out of the cake, specially when making a sponge cake.4)Maybe you are using too much baking soda or baking powder. If you use too much, the cake will collapse and if you use too little it won't rise. You need to be really precise following the measurements from the recipe. If you aren't using a scale, I recommend you buy one and stop using measuring spoons and cups. It's always better to measure by grams rather than volume.I'm a professional baker so I hope my tips help you! Sorry for my english

+cloudboy51 not if you're doing a batch the size he did...if you're trying to follow this and only cooking 1 portions worth the cooking time will be considerably less, but also he tells you what consistency you're looking for so its less following a timer more your own judgment
I have tried dozens of french fry recipes and they all come out soggy. They
are so hard to make properly. Your recipe looks intriguing. I will try your
recipe. One problem is finding an accurate fryer that maintains an accurate
temperature. What brand/model of fryer is yours? Thanks.
