Hey No unfortunately not, It is confusing on my other device it works, the same files and Voila Unlocker is blue, I do not understand it, on my main Device "Note 3" of Unlocker is white not blue, lol is fuckin crazy

HEY MARCO, I set this up with SS Launcher. No glitches no problems. It was all done in ONE GO. It was just time consuming to modify ALL the UCCWs to change the icons and hotspots and texts to what I need. I was able to recreate EXACTLY what you have and people need to google a bit before they ask you as your tutorial was perfectly made but I added a news feed. But my question is why is that launcher SO DAMN LAGGY? Is my phone the problem or does this setup take a toll on the launcher? Thanks

How do I look for an icon that I want to apply as an image for a shortcut in UCCW?? I have the paid version of the metro inspired icons and I see no way of viewing them when adding an image to replace a shortcut I don't need. An image box shows, then when I select to change it I'm left with options only from my gallery to choose from. The text I am able to change. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Hey, wow cool launcher! But the Now Playing app link isn't working. I searched it at the playstore en download but I get another widget than yours... I don't have a picture in my widget.. and if I press play on the widget, I hear the music but I get a 'app crash' en the music stops.. How to fix? (I think it is maybe another version than yours.. You know wich version I need?)

I did it on Lightning Launcher, everything works fine, the only thing.... I thought the links for the utilities.zip uccw were already in place..Marco...can you please tell me how to get them?, I think a blank icon using desktop wisualizer is not going to work....so how can I get Home, Facebook, Playstore, Youtube, ecc ecc.....Thank you

pls show how to do this on SS launcher 10. For the App Page: Once on it, tap back - select the first icon at the bottom (tick). 11. Select the same icon (box) to create an empty parcel. 12. Continue in order to push all the apps down, and use the app People for contacts. I am not able to make the icons go down

No. I can do it in Galaxy Note 2 as all themes WITHOUT rooting. Everyone can do it without rooting, but rooting is more tricky, plus your phone's warranty will void, and you could lose your data, plus Your phone may not able to use it if you don't know how to root. So, Rooting is not needed to do the most.

I keep trying to get this to work, but I keep getting issues on lightning launcher. Every time I add a UCCW widget, after the 2nd or 3rd it gets glitchy and doubles the widgets, puts them out of order, etc. Ive uninstalled/rebooted/everything! any ideas?? Im on an AT&T galaxy note 2

how do i get the widgets to work i tap on play store and it keeps popping up the uccw thing the only widgets that work are the weather music and power function ones and im on a xperia play is there a way i can cut off the excess wallpaper after the eye in the sky widget? thanks!!!!

Do you mean that you want to customise the picture used as background in the header? Or if you just want to save something in uzip format, open the settings menu (make sure hotspot mode is off, so that you can click the widget), click the overflow menu and choose save>make uzip.

I changed the .psd files to my liking because I figured that'd be a lot easier, but how do I go about importing them into UCCW/making them a .uzip file? That's the only part I don't understand and I can't seem to find an explanation on google.

Great work! Nice launcher! But wich version of Now playing are u using? Cause I have another (bad) widget and when I press play then i have the 'app crash' en my music stops.. If I play the same song in the app self then it works..

so i edited the "small tabs"psd file and saved it as png and moved it to my phone but the uccw is still the same do you mind doing another video showing us how to edit the uccw widget .thanks for the reply.

Thank you so much for this. I managed to get everything to work despite a few hick ups along the way. I was having trouble loading my own image that replaces your logo. Then I learned about Desktop Visualizer and created my own image. jpg wasn't working but DVR saved it as a png and that worked fine. Keep up the great work!

Nice idea but would be better if you can see a notification count for other applications for Whatsapp. I don't understand why anyone hasn't come up with one for the other social network apps like instagram, facebook, twitter, etc. or any of the 3rd party instant messengers.

For anyone that is curious the black wallpaper image that he is talking about does indeed have an image on it. Its like a macro shot of a twig with some leafs on it. Opening it up with GIMP or photoshop and playing with the levels will help reveal it.

@cupojoe999 im pretty sure you need root to use widget locker. At least that's how it used to be. I haven't used it in a while though so if you don't that's very cool.

Anmol, what kind of problems are you having? With my Note, quite often I have to tweak the grid size. 99% of the time, us Note users can't use the same grid sizes that Galaxy S and Nexus 4 users have. But seeing how this screen uses SSlauncher, make sure you have the paid version (Original). Don't be afraid to try other launchers! There are a few homescreen set-ups that call for SSLauncher, and I've sucessfully used Nova!

Keep in mind though, that certain interface actions like some neat sliding effects aren't available with Nova and Apex. SSLauncher and Lightning Launcher each do some pretty cool things. The fun part for me is customizing and tweaking what I see in the tutorials. Never stop customizing and never stop experimenting!

Is anyone else having problems with setting the wallpaper up for a SG3? I cant get it lined up with pop widget the UCCW does not line up with the wallpaper.. it dark areas that say music area in the with area and the beginning of the widget isnt even on the line.

Two things. 1) can you show the method for this using Nova/Apex? I have SSLauncher and I am not a big fan, but I can't seem to get this right on Nova. 2) As others said, how hard is it to change or add icons into the slider?

Ah that was a widget (Power Toggles), it gives you the option of having a notification of the date/battery/etc. But other than that it's just stock Android...

Ya of course, you mean like the time and weather? You just don't have to add them in that's all... If you want a complete blank background, you'll have to edit in photoshop or GIMP (free)... hope this helps

Hey Marco!!! I love the site, Especially love the Tutorials!!!! This time, I'm struggling with UCCW. I've struggled with adding every uccw widget in this tutorial. I've got 3 down but two are repeatedly giving me right boxes. I've redownloaded, rebooted, changed the location, but I can't make it work. Your notes state "✖ Note: If you get a white box, remove it and select it from the UCCW list, don't re-import it" I'm not quite sure what that means.

By the note, what I mean is 90% of the time, it will import the skin onto UCCW and your phone. So first check that it's not already in your UCCW skins list (so don't select Uzip, just look in that list of previously imported skins), it might already be there. If not, you have 2 more options, re-download the skins, or restart your phone... hope this helps

Once I receive the white box, i've clicked on it and reselected the same uzip. (SmartUIUnlock.uzip or Smart Ui time and date.uzip) and still no result. I've also deleted the white box, and started all over again with no result. I've used my most recent version of UCCW 2.9.9.7 and I've also reverted back to 2.8.7 with no luck. What am I not getting?????

Marko I have a question. Whenever I use widgetlocker and I'm playing music, my screen wakes up by itself. If my screen is off and I change the volume of the sound, (pressing the volume rockers) then a couple seconds later the screen comes on without me even noticing. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Marko, I am trying to download smart Ui # notifs.uzip file. When i do, it doesn't show in the UCCW app. I noticed there are 2 files with the same name. so far I am set with everything else but the #'s. how can i fix that?

The image you trying to add might be too large, try a smaller image and see if that helps. UCCW doesn't really like 8MP photos on it :/

Not too sure on that. In WL Settings - Buttons & Inputs you can deselect the Volume buttons, but that's all I can see for now..
