i love all of this, since i am working on how to INSTALL THE MODS! not how to run them with texmod. no dislike, since this will help others, but its just annoying how people cannot tell the difference between running texmod .tpf files, and installing them.

@JonesSs1993 Auf den Konsolen gibt es einen sogenannten "Auto-Aim". Das ist eine Zielhilfe da es sonst auf der Konsolen mit den Gummiknüppeln da sehr schwer ist etwas zu treffen. Der "Auto-Aim" berichtigt beim Snipern sozusagen kleine Fahler beim reinzoomen mit der Sniper und daher ist es leichter und braucht nicht so viel übung wie auf dem PC. Ich spiel selber aber ja auch auf dem PC und da gehts mit Übung auch genauso gut ;D

Hallo Leute! und insbesondere TPF! könnt ihr mir vielleicht mal sagen ob das gute quickscope nur mit playstation / Xbox möglich ist? ich finde alle die quickscope machen spielen mit einer spielkonsole und nicht mit dem com! ist es einfacher mit einer konsole?

Well, assuming you have the SecurityCenter.. Right click the McAfee icon in the toolbar and go to Change Settings, go to Computer & Files (under the Configure tab), turn VIRUS PROTECTION off, it will prompt you to turn the protection back on after an amount of time, or never. Choose the lowest setting (15 minutes for me) and click okay. Then run your texmod, and it'll all work. It doesn't matter if the protection turns back on, Texmod'll still run, so you'll be protected and running Texmod! :)

Unlike everyone else, I know what is wrong, but I can't fix it. I have a laptop, and therefore no NumPad. I need the NumPad versions of + and - to use TexMod. Nothing I have tried is working. Pressing Fn and ";" or "/" isn't working. Fn and + or - isn't working. OnScreen keyboard isn't working. Please help?

@MyNameIsFuz Save the file as a DDS image file, whch can be done under the logging mode and instead of BMP for output format, choose DDS. Then open up the files with Photoshop, because DDS doesn't work with MS paint or anything like that. It should remove the shine.

For those of you who hit + and - but nothing happens ...I thought the same thing, but if you are using a standard keyboard, it seems to only work with the - and + on the number pad, doesn't work with the ones above the letters in the main part of the keyboard.

i got the same Textmod logging mode as you, i click Run, i open Gw, but there is no red thing in the upper left corner and when i turn things don't become green and when i press F1 i go to my weapon set... what do i do?

Well, you only need to disable it for the time you click the run button - if you let it reapply Mcaffee's protection after 15 minutes automatically your Texmod still works and you're once again protected.

ok, so i was trying to make my blindfold black, but when i ran the mod my blindfold was shiny and white. i tried using paint and gimp but they both just made it shiny and white. what am i doing wrong?

@asjfasd And i have Directx 9 card, windows 7 laptop. I have fn set to opposite (the fn buttons are automatic, i have to hold fn to use things like up or down sound). it wont let me select textures..

yeah i had the same problem because the texmod is editing the game so the antivirus thinks its a trojan> to fix this u just gotta turn off ur virus protection then run it :)

What about laptops that don't have num pads? Is there a version of texmod that has a different key set or is there another way to change the number pad controls?

@TheWeegeeRage i had the exact same problem but, i found a way! use the on-screen keyboard. if there is no numpad, go to options and change that.

I just got a new PC, I've been modding for months now. But sadly, with this PC it just brings me to a screen that says "D'OH" whenever I try to load up Texmod for any game. The Simpsons reference DIDN'T help.

Hey Mr.Jag, is there a problem with my game? I have Arkham City GOTY (Idk if that affects it) and every time I run on logging mode (with your same settings) it just crashes.
