pete flanders gifford(aka...the crocodile hunter's twin) and polly pelly worked with Computer Cafe in the mountains of santa barbara to produce this computer ...
@Lokivoid i would have been late for my meeting this morning if i didn't
have this product. i have used it before and it lasted the life of my tire.
the shop by my work just hoses the stuff into the drain and patches tires
for free. apparently it is environmentally friendly and they say it takes 5
minutes extra to clean out so not that big of a deal. took me less then 10
minutes to fix and air back up my tire. i would rather be safe and on time
then wait for hours for road side assistance ugh
"Oh, i see this is from a year ago... " Well, I put slime in the tires of
my Ural sidecar rig, and it stopped the pourous Russian rubber from slowly
leaking air. I found no balance issues, and even wonder if Slime acts like
Dynabeads (automatic tire balancing granules). My new tubes (& tires) have
Dynabeads in the tubes, so I don't think I can put Slime in them (form
porridge). May try slime in a known off-balance tire someday to see if (it
shifts the overall CG, and rotation shifts to new CG
slime is ok..but dont fix big holes in tyres..and its not recomended for
tube's...also once a tyre has slime in it the tyre cannot be repaired
properly tyre slime is only a tempory repair..it cant be repaired properly
at tyre places as the tyre slime is slipery and the patch wont stick
properly..dont believe me then go ask a proper tyre shop or fitter..
use the Tube Sealant by Slime. It works a bit better and it costs less than
the Tire Sealant, which has extra ingredients. If you have presta valves,
use Slime Smart Tubes - preloaded with Slime in three weighs...lite for
racers, super thick for ultra flat protection...take a short cut through a
cactus patch. Slime Guy, Joe
Slime is marketed as an emergency repair for highway, passenger vehicles.
After a repair, do what the American Automobile Association recommends -
have a tire/tyre pro check it, clean it, patch it for good if the puncture
is in the tread area. Slime - preferred tire sealant of the AAA.
Slime is ideal for emergency repair of flat tires/tyres in passegner
vehicles, including motorcycles. The only time you want to go fast with
Slime inside is to win the DAKAR or BAJA 1000 flat-free. slime has had over
20 winners of BAJA racing since 2007....Slime Guy
you never worked in a tyre shop then..it wont repair tubes or big holes in
tubeless tyres..and to repair a tyre with slime in it has to be very clean
for the plug glue to stick which is almost impossible
It may work, but it threw my wheel and tire so far out of balance that my
car was shaking violently on the highway. Cost me $50.00 to have the tire
unmounted/remounted and I'm STILL leaking air.
wrong, wrong, and wrong Slime is the preferred tire/tyre sealant of the
American Automobile Association. Slime - Saves Tires, Saves Time, Saves
Money...Slime Guy
use Slime Tire Sealant to prevent flats in any ATV or UTV tubeless tire. It
has rust and corrosion inhibitors making is safe for steel and even
aluminum wheels.
Hey dude, I recently bought the exact same bike as you. Just wondering
what's the difference between this slime bottle and the other products? For
instance I have noticed there's one where slime is already pre-filled, and
you get another tube? A little confused as this is all new to me. Should I
just stick to your method and fill it in? Thanks, keep up the great work!
+TheXDsunny yes I've done another video on this topic exactly let me tell you the easy way to do it is to buy a pre filled tube with slime in it so buy slime smart tube. and so far it is going well I had no any issues with it so far thanks for watching. https://youtu.be/WkVQUayF2ec
