Wow These dumb wannabe motherfuckers on here who call themselves "Redneck" are giving us a bad name. I've owned and worked on more V8's then these people will in their entire life, and have built more racing mowers and ATV's then these people will ever own. and I am all on for Electric vehicles. Performance wise, and the Range is getting better and better its looking real promising. All you dumb fucking haters. Please don't say your "Country" because your giving us real country folk a bad name

@coalandnuclear Unfortunately, your advice of telling me not falling into the trap of torque is pulling power is too late because a few years ago I had someone build me a frame for my electric go kart project. It weighed like 500 pounds and if it could grab traction it would have a draw bar pull of 1200 lbs. I used 13" super lug tires for the rear. I hooked up to a 7.8 HP gas go kart and got dragged with my tires spinning like a fool. He had wider tires and he did not "gun it" like I did. cont..

@coalandnuclear It is not so much about the torque meeting a specific RPM, but that electric develops torque figures beyond what a gas or diesel engine can. An example would be if I built a saw and put such a severe load on it that it stalls the gas and diesel engine, it will not stall the electric motor for same load that stalled the diesel engine or gas engine. Although you must not keep it loaded down for too long or the magic smoke will soon follow. Electric motor torque curve is load based.

@coalandnuclear Weight does not have to increase, but just simply get a 500 to 1000 amp controller with a decent size series wound motor like a #203-06-4001 and you will pull every gas ATV out there like they were weaklings until of course your battery pack starts to die. I would be glad to bet $10,000 against you if we ever did a pull off. This motor develops 100 ft*lbs at 500 amps. No ATV engine can develop torque figures this high.

@coalandnuclear Here is a video: watch?v=HGL6yK7CIAU of an electric ATV pulling a 600cc gas powered ATV backwards. His tires are spinning like a fool as mine did when I got dragged. Notice though the guy on the electric ATV does not "gun it" , but just barely lays into the throttle. Pulling is more of an art than a science I suppose much like what separates a good racer from a bad one.

@coalandnuclear I cannot deny that the range is the problem because this is a fact. Just do not fall into the trap of thinking a gas or diesel engine will develop more torque than electric because it will never happen.

@ZIPLINEtoPARADISE17 Very cool! The best part of this was that we did it with anywhere from 4 guys to a full lobby. So many different ways to play it out. Go for ultimate realism...it's very fun! If you have one guy that's always winning by a few seconds, figure out ways to handicap it to make it closer stitched...tons of possibilities here!

How do you sign up for it and I race the quads I've bought them all and can you change bikes for each MOTO or do you have to use the same bike cause I switch quads for different tracks.

thanks buddy! The Mayhem Engineering...they make in 1.9s they have good selection...I linked in the description. I buy the monthly specials.. little bit better deal. But I tried looking up the Ottsix Voodoo U4...I believe they only make in 2.2s.
