1st batch i messed up by using 1 cup butter (yup, my mistake) still tasted
good even though i had to add extra flour...2nd batch made as recipe was
written perfecto! awesome! my fam want more! i had already bought the
linzer cutter/biscut sandwich and put it to good use! the cookie cutter i
had was to small and the jam would leak out(use parchment paper! ) but
these were really really good! my grandson is over again tonight(dont know
how he worked that out) and he got me making more lol!
You are right, the recipe for the dough doesn't have added sugar. The

make the cookies softer and taller, while with butter, the cookies are more
