There's def no dollar store in atlantis. There is however a supermarket that you would have to take a cab to. Prices there are decent. I told the cab to stop there from the airport that way I didn't have to pay for a whole separate ride. But I would bring as much snacks as you can from home. Hope that helps
How to Eat Cheap in China
Eating on the cheap in China. Expats can easily eat for 100RMB per day or less if they know where to go. Many Asian countries are even cheaper for meals.
+clearasvodka get on taobao. they have organic valley milk...cheaper than here in the states...idk how come its cheaper than here...bt i was buying it online when i was in china
+Healthy Gal The problem is the milk is so bad here that it's not recommended to drink. It's poor quality & watered down. Imported milk is so expensive because of strict Chinese tariffs. So, it sucks living in China if you are a dairy lover.
+Thomas Ranum You could but... You surely would not be eating organic foods or having anything decent to snack on or drink. If you cook your own food, yeah it's possible. But if you want variety and a decent steak you can't. You'd be surprised at how 100 RMB doesn't go very far in China anymore. Some things here are actually more expensive than in the US or EU. China isn't cheap any longer...
+xuenjun1 Exactly. If you want to eat healthy organic foods, drink some wine or decent beer & have snacks then 100 RMB doesn't seem like so much. You can only eat rice and vegetables every day for so long. After a while, a guy wants some quality in his diet.
+clearasvodka It's weird, it's like only the yellow and green colour channels are there!

Eat Cheap Health Food on a Budget Pt. 2
BUFF DUDES T-SHIRTS! //www.buffdudes.us/collections/all Are you strapped for cash and feel like if you buy healthy food you'll be spending more money ...
Frozen fruits and vegetables have actually been shown to have higher
nutrient content than their fresh counterparts as they are typically flash
frozen right after being picked and are picked at a 'ripe' stage when they
are packing the highest nutrient content where as the 'fresh' vegetables
and fruits you buy at the store that have not been frozen are typically
PRIOR to their 'ripe' stage (so that they can be shipped to you and not be
spoiled during that time frame) thus robbing them of achieving their
maximum nutritional potential/value.
+Doyle Lovil That's true. Plus, they are better in smoothies. If you like your protein shakes more ice cream-y than the frozen berries are the way to go
We have the saver menu which is kind of crap. £0.89 for hamburger, £0.99
for cheeseburger, £0.99 for med- fries, £1.39 for double cheese burger.
When I went to florida in June, I had a cheese burger & fries and it was
about 20% bigger. £1 = about 0.70USD :(
Nope :( just the cheap rubbish shops that aren't chains. We got burger
king, KFC (which is super popular), Subway (also popular), pizza hut,
dominoes... And they are adding more tax to toasted food soon to "combat
obesity" which Subway are getting pissed about.
