i get a god damg black screen for 10 minuites and then if it doesnt stop responding i get to the game menu. then if i leanch a world it takes 20 minuites to load and half the time doesnt make it all the way before getting stuck

HALP I INSTALLED A MOD PACK FROM FEED THE BEAST AND MINECRAFT RAN FINE BUT, when it showed the mojang IT WAS NOT RESPONDING (and yes i retried launching it and downloading it) :/

+Logan SpeedPaints It takes a REALLY long time to load, even up to 15 minutes, and your computer thinks its not responding, so just wait a while, and it should load it up.

Most likely that is because you haven't installed or downloaded the actual modpack.

if i install this mod pack , and play on my survival single player server wich was created about 2 months ago (1.8.5) , will i lose my stuff bc of the fact that this runs on 1.7.10 ?

It will install a separate instance of Minecraft that has this mod pack enabled, it won't be able to convert your world from the 1.8.5 version of Minecraft. However it will not affect your vanilla Minecraft world through the vanilla Minecraft launcher

The feed the beast launcher will take care of everything you need in order to play, it will load a separate instance of Minecraft so your 1.8 worlds will not be affected. It will load a 1.7.10 version of Minecraft and have a separate world saves folder

+Trew Hoffman Feed the Beast uses a 3rd party launcher, that will load whatever version of Minecraft is used for the pack.
