I have a dumb question about the jack: How do you gently lower the jack
since it's hydraulic and once you turn that arm clockwise (or counter) to
lower it, you really have no control of how fast it comes down. This is the
only scary part of the project for me and why I haven't attempted it yet.
+roymazz you do, you just twist slowly. It won't come crashing down, it'll ease it down. Never done it with a pump jack before, but I've done it with a bottle jack which raises and lowers pretty much the same way
