@ragebowhunter93 why? because its not an MBRP exhaust like EVERYBODY runs
on there dmax?? im all about makin my trucks look different and don't do
what everybody and their grandma does
@fx2ranger94 it really doesn't sound that bad... the camera microphone
isn't the best. Trust me, when i stomp on it, she rumbles! when high idling
it's only at about 1250 rpm, with very little boost, so you won't get a
huge rumble.
thx man, I love my truck lol. I'm runnin' a 6" fabtech, along with fabtech
traction bars, HD tie-rods, idler, and pitman arm. It sits on 20" MKW
wheels and 35" toyo m/ts. I think i'm gonna try to fit 37s when my 35s are
worn out
@XxClemsonTigersXx If i keep my foot out of it right about 20. with the way
i drive about 17-18. I'm gonna be switching to EFI live though here real
soon and that should do better than my Edge chip in there now.
@fx2ranger94 These trucks have a variable vane turbo (VVT) which is why it
whistles more than the LB7 motors did. You can tune the vanes using EFI
Live to give it more of a rumble and less hiss at idle.
@fx2ranger94 diesels dont exactly rumble anyways. your also listening to it
at idle. at idle there is no load on the engine. so theres very little fuel
being burned. meaning no rumble just air flowing.
Fuck me the slow spool up sound is maddening! looooooove it! I have an 06
LLY w/LBZ stock tune on it and anyday now my straight 5" MBRP DP back w/
muffler delete kit should sound deadly :)
@yotamobber Straight piping it will not throw codes I have a 05 lly and i
straight piped it and it breaths better, sounds better, and all around i
think you'll be happy
Truck is 100% stock, and I apologize about saying 2006 twice.
High idle LBZ
24* morning letting the high idle do its thing. MBRP 5", diamond eye DP, LB7 up-pipes and Danville 4094 billet.
06 LBZ Duramax Cold start & High Idle
Temp was about 23℉ with a wind chill of 16℉. Currently have an edge insight CTS, 4inch turbo back straight pipe, S&B cold air intake, and egr delete. Efi live to ...
