Hello I hope you can help with my problem I had my HP 2000 notebook laptop taken in to get fixed and it really messed up when I get back my windows 8 was in Spanish I'm trying everything to get it back in English and every time I ask for help get directions in English which is great but everything on the screen comes out in Spanish please help thank you

Quick question, I accidentally skipped the create a new partition button, and went straight to next. Once I realized my mistake, I cancelled the download (then at the "getting files ready for installation" section) and redid the setup. However, once back at the partition section with the different files, 4 partitions came up. One was marked recovery, and two others marked other things. However, each only held 100 mb of data, and partition 4 held 930~ gb of data, and was marked primary. I didn't delete anything, I just clicked next, so it's currently installing Windows. Did I mess up, and if so, what should I do now?

Partition 1 is a Push Button Reset partition, 2nd is the EFI System Partition, where boot files are stored. 3rd is the MSR partition. That last one you did the install on was the Windows partition. No mistakes were made

Thanks so much for this video. I hope it gets me through. I was wondering if I should have my printer and all other hardware plugged in as I install Windows 8.1 on a brand new build. You mentioned that part of the install has Windows checking for drivers.

I have windows 7 32-bit and now I want to install windows 8 64-bit. I can not start the installation from where you started, but it gives me an error message that 32bit is not compable with 64bit. So where I can start my install of Windows 8.1 64-bit if not there where you started yours.

It depends on your settings, if you meant will this system keep your files or will it remove it completely. Most of the programs should work fine as well. It's upgrading or clean install.

You should set cd/dvd drive as the primary boot device in BIOS. When insert the windows installation cd or dvd and restart your pc. Press any key when prompted to do so.
