That's awesome! It took me completely by surprise, too. Green doesn't ordinarily get anything bigger than a 757, but the Patriots do charter a 767 on occasion. Last year, TF Green was visited by an A340, and the year before Obama came here with his 747. And many years ago even the Concorde came to Green!

I actually saw this plane taking off and flying over Oakland Beach! I was sitting at Marley's On The Beach having some drinks when it took off.. I was right! I knew this was boeing 767! I was suprised to see a b767 taking off from Green.

Agreed! Especially since this one was going to Florida with a pretty good amount of fuel on board. I've seen an A340 land/takeoff here, as well as AF1. Even the Concorde came here 20 years ago- i wish i was alive to have seen it!

I use to work at Green Airport during 2002-2004, in Warwick, RI and have seen a B767 jet a few times, even an A330 jet iv seen at this airport.

that wake is really fun in the winter as it spawns little tornadoes of snow in the ground at ORD... wish i had it on video but it is challenging to time it right and film it.

Nice one! It seems that the smaller planes create more wake vortex than bigger ones, the most impressive wake vortex I´ve heard came from a CRJ7 :)
