Southwest landing in Houston with overviews of IAH and HOU
A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 wearing the carrier's new Heart Livery lands at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston after a flight from Chicago ...
+Air Raid 21 I actually prefer the Heart. It's really refreshing compared to the old Canyon Blue, which I loved.

IAH HD Continental Q400 Connection Landing Houston Airport Bombardier DHC8 Dash 8 United
Here is a Continental Connection Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 operated by Colgan Air landing at Houston Intercontinental Airport in the early morning.
Thanks! Yes I think right before Wright is gone we will see 737s to Houston
if not sooner like 11 months be4 Wright expire .United is pissed about the
whole Houston Hobby thing with Southwest. I wouldn't be surprised to see
DAL get non stops to all UA hubs with mainline all the way up to 757s. We
got the CRJ-700 a few months ago. Once Wright is gone in a couple years UA
and WN, maybe Delta will be the only airlines there. I doubt AA will come
back. Same reason why CO doesn't 't fly to Hobby.
But if you realize that SWA will never be better than UAL/CAL to flights
south of the border, Caribbean, Central and South America. UAL/CAL offers
more service in inflight entertainment, from DirecTV, Wi-Fi, and Meals @
MealTime. Airlners.net posted that SWA will be adding Wi--Fi on Boeing 738,
still that is nothing compared to UAL/CAL flights to Mexico and beyond. All
flights from IAH to Mexico, Caribbean, Central and South America are all
non stop from IAH.....continue on next comment box.
Part TWO.... SWA posted that it is going with cheap labor and will be
opening up a maintenece base in San Juan and adding six gates in SJU. So
that all SWA flight from HOU and other cities in the US will have to make
stop in SJU and continue on to there destination. So no... SWA will never
be better than UAL compared to inflight service and fleet.
It's the other way around in Houston. It is Southwest that is going to be
competing with United by added new flights. UA has them beat with number of
flights and larger aircraft as IAH is their largest hub. No one knows what
going to happen in 5 years. I think that is that is when Southwest will fly
out of Hobby.
Nice Video! Do you think they'll ever use a bigger aircraft, like a 737 on
the Dallas-Houston flight. It looks like a busy route and a 737 is better
than a Q400 or a CRJ.
Thanks and YES I'm glad I wasn't on a CRJ! I do what ever I can now to
avoid Skywest CRJ-200s out of DAL. Those are the worst planes that I have
flown on!
