Haha, i've been asked to leave by the police on several occasions, too. I just drive around Warwick Industrial listening to ATC and quickly pull over before my desired aircraft is about to takeoff/land. I wish they'd make a nice parking lot over there or something. Not really sure why we can't pull over!

True, but SW only has 16 of the new -800 models, so i was amazed that they'd use this equipment for the BWI-PVD routes considering how short it is. But apparently they're no longer use the -800 at PVD... it must have been a seasonal thing.

You should definitely do it! Always be sure to check flightaware for KPVD to see what planes are en route, present and planning to depart a few hours in advance. Whenever i see an interesting plane i just drive over to catch it! :)

How on earth did you get to take that video??? Airport security and or police are there to move you along and take your name and license in like to 2 minutes!!! ??? I know...i've been there.

It's fantastic, such a beautiful plane, inside and out. I just flew on and it was by far the best experience on Southwest I've ever had, it just feels more spacious and clean.

im not sure why, but to me, because of the way the engines sound as its going up. it makes it sound like the plane is saying yaaaaaaaaaayy!!!!!!!!!!! thumbs up if you agree

Thanks! PVD is my nearest airport, I just went there tonight to catch a glimpse of the MD88! Unfortunately it's the most interesting plane that comes to PVD... I can't wait for the expansion so we can get some bigger planes to see!

Yeahh, where we were standing was very close to runway 5/23! I wish they'd put some more parking spots out there, it's a great spot!

Yes it does. You get the approach and takeoff of 23 and also get the landing and taxi of 5. The last time I was there they had no parking signs up but I guess people still park there.

I use to love to go over at cedar swamp by the airport fire station to watch the planes from there.

Great video! Now do the autoracks come down from Worcester? If so do you know which train takes them down and the time it passes through Uxbridge MA? I've been meaning to catch some more P&W action but never know when they head south from Worcester or North to Worcester from Providence.

The providence and worcester WODA takes them to the seaview railroad in Quonset RIIt goes through usually with lots of power on Thursday nights to switch out locomotives in vally falls it works sunday - Thursday nights and goes through that spot anywere from 10 - 1130 at night on those nights
