I've done all the quests that I did on my Titan but I haven't gotten the exotic sword quest for my hunter (sword level 291) does anyone know why?

+ViruzzGamingHD You're sword must also be fully leveled. Many people don't see that when you reach 280 light with your sword, a new upgrade icon pops up in the skill tree (I didn't see it too at first). So do the upgrade and you're ready to go

I believe you totally left off the part after you farm the 25 crucible kills where you have to find the named guy and his shield can only be damaged by your sword.

There's a part he skipped....right after you get the major and guardian kills you have to kill some type of boss before you get the quest to farm.

For all u warlocks with arc swords if u have perpetual charge the ability kills makes it super easy cause u instant charge a grenade or melee if u kill something with the opposite ability! :D

I farmed in the steppes and the moth yard and got all mine in an hour and 30 minutes...a lot of spin metal spawns in the steppes and the spin metal spawns automatically in the moth yard(where all the ships are)

Did you guys notice how the abilities resemble the elemental logo. Like Bolt Caster shoots the arc disc. Or how Raze Lighter's phoenix uppercut goes up like the flame and the Dark Drinker swirls like the void logo.

get a ghost that detects relic iron. If you're a hunter you can also use nightstalker with the "keen scout" perk. Relentless tracker also does a good job

it takes about 20 to get 1 solitan flare. Any in the chests don't count.

Awesome video with times recorded. I have all 3 legendary swords can you please tell me who I have to kill to get all 3 exotics. Is it 3 seperate quests ? when I approached Lord Shaxx I had all 3 legendary swords in my heavy weapon slot. I collected relic iron crystals so I'm thinking I'll have to collect spirit bloom and whatever else and rerun the whole crucible thing,which I dread...please help...peace Shaun

+muaythai193 where are you in your quest are you at the material place yet? In that case go to shax he go to his shop area he sells ghosts and armor and at the bottom you will see 3 swords infuse the 2 you don't have to 280 and upgrade them fully. Then talk to shaxx it won't look like he has a quest for you because he doesn't have that sign over his head but he will give you the quests for your other sword. Then you'll have to farm the materials and ability kills each sword then wait till arms day and then... You have to face the sunlesscell strike on lvl 42/300 light. You will have to kill your specific warden( you'll know it's you by his shield type it will be orange for solar,purple for void, and blue for arc) then kill those wardens first and alak hul between a 30 second span of each other

right i have already got one exotic sword , im on my second right now , i have infused it to 289 but haven't fully upgraded it yet as i still need weapon parts , will this still work ? my friend said they he to complete the pvp kills on his second sword. dose it matter if you infuse it before you unlock all the perks ? or is it only the other way round ? thanks

+jaffalips infusing doesnt matter, what matters is which character the sword is on that fills the last node perk on the sword. You have have a 300 light sword and all the nodes except the last one upgraded and whichever character fills that last node will move on with the quest, hopefully being the one that has already done the PVP/Ecthar quests.

+Justin Yates play it safe and complete that and summoning ecthar with one sword. After that bring the other two over lvl them up and fill the last node. Then all 3 will be on the collecting materials which is a freaking grind.

Actually I had some one on Twitter get all 3 exotics at the same time. The only missions you can skip are the crucible and summoning ecthar. You only have to complete that once. Or you can just have all swords on one character and knock everything out only once. Hope this makes sense. Have to at least complete the crucible and ecthar once.

Only issue with this is that I wouldn't want to run the Arc Edge on my Titan. At least with Defender you can pucnh lots of things under the Force Barrier, they all count as ability kills; Striker's pretty fucked, from what I know.

I am not sure you knew this but, if you equip a sniper, and aim your sniper, it will show all the them in your area. Same in Pvp with special ammo, when its ready it will show you.
